Track: Good The scales will again be thoroughly checked before the next meeting after they were very slow to react at times during kennelling.

Judicial report: Following race 7, it was reported to the Stewards that CAWBOURNE STEFFI a starter in that race may have been in season and as a result the dog was examined by the Vet who confirmed the season and a 28 day stand down was imposed. After the Stewards received further information regarding the incident of alleged lateness to prepare a dog for racing at the meeting at Manawatu on 20.12.10, the $ 50-00 fine imposed on Trainer W.T.Hodgson under Rule 71.2 was rescinded as there were clearly some mitigating circumstances which the Stewards were not aware of at the time of imposing the fine.

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	KINGA RYAN and STILL NO WIVES were slow to begin losing three lengths. KINGA RYAN did run on to finish in 3rd place but STILL NO WIVES stayed well back to finish in 2nd last place. HOMEBUSH LITTLE was checked back to last on the bend and finished in that position.
Race 2	Peter Sinclair Photos C1 - C1 - 375	RUN FOR LLEYTON clipped the heels of KINGA MIKE on the bend and fell and WHERE'S WALLY was checked in the incident and lost ground. RUN FOR LLEYTON was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with injuries to the pectoral, tricep and tensor fascia lata muscles.
Race 3	GEON Wellington C0 - C0 - 457	UPAHUT CINDY and LOTTO PROFIT came together and jostled for several strides in the race to the first corner and both lost ground and they finished in the 2nd half of the field.
Race 4	Foxton Dash C1 - C1 - 375	WHO'S YA DUFFER was very slow to begin losing six lengths but he recovered to finish in 3rd place. CATCH A GLIMPSE raced well back in the field and ran very wide into the home straight and finished in last place. She was examined by the Vet as a precaution and stood down for 10 days with a pectoral muscle injury.
Race 5	Cloverlea Sprint C2 - C2 - 375	BLACK IS BACK was checked soon after the start after FAST PAUSE ran in and bumped ACE DRUMARD who went in and made contact with BLACK IS BACK. He then recovered to make up ground for 4th place.
Race 6	Hokowhitu Stakes C0 - C0 - 457	GLENORCHY checked off the heels of WALTZING FIREFLY soon after the start and lost a little ground.
Race 7	Woodville Dash C3 - C3 - 375	CAWBOURNE BUNDY and WINSOME JAMES were both slow to begin losing a couple of lengths. SCAMPER CLAIR and WANDY WANNABE were checked back to the rear on the first corner and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 8	www.racingdogs.co.nz C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	All clear.
Race 9	Riverdale Dash C4 - C4 - 375	ROUGH ENFORCER and BOMBER MAN collided soon after the start and settled at the rear where they stayed throughout the race to finish in the last two places.
Race 10	Manawatu Raceway Dash C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	THRILLING BASH ran in from the start and checked LAW'S HILL , DARK SAGE who were the most affected and also ADDIS SUNSET and BIGTIME SURVIVOR. ADDIS SUNSET and GENERAL VIEW collided on the first corner and both lost ground and along with LAW'S HILL and DARK SAGE, they finished in the last four places.
Race 11	Marton Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	All clear.
Race 12	Turakina Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	SITE AN EXCUSE began a little awkwardly and settled back in the field but ran on quite well for 2nd placing.
