Judicial report: MICKER MORRIS (DI Roberts) successfully completed a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 81. MORIARTY (McCook/Jopson) successfully completed a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 81.
OHOKA BELLA (L Waretini) who qualified for the Coalgate Tavern Stakes Final(c1) was withdrawn prior to field selection for the final with a right hip support tear. A stand down of 21 days was recommended up to and including 11 January 2011. KNOW LOVE (GA Cleeve) who was a starter in Race 12 was shown in the race card as having a weight of 25.9kg at his last race start on 21 December 2010 at Otago. His race record card revealed a correct weight of 35.9kgs, so no further action was required.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C4 - 295	TEPIRITA TIKI was slow to jump. SURFER CHICK drifted to the rear before the bend finishing a long last. A veterinary check revealed a left hip support injury with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 2	Flair Maiden Final - C0f - 520	HOMEBUSH DIP ran in sharply after the jump tightening JUST TEASING and EMIE ROSE before moving down to the rail causing OZARK'S CROWN to check outwards coming in contact with JUST TEASING. Around the first bend HOMEBUSH DIP checked out off the heels of OKUKU OLLIE to collide with SHARI JEWEL.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C3 - 295	GENISTA COMMANCHE was checked when squeezed between CAWBOURNE CART and TORQUED UP into the bend coming back on INGA THE WINGA, KNOW SPORTY and WHERE'S MY SEAT who all lost ground.
Race 4	Coalgate Tavern Stakes Final - C1f - 520	KICKING HORSE moved out onto MY BLIND SIDE around the first bend losing ground.
Race 5	Canterbury O.T.B. Association Dash - C5 - 295	Into the bend FOUR TO MIDNIGHT checked out onto SPRING JETHRO forcing JUST BEATRICE wide on the track.
Race 6	www.christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Stakes - C2/3 - 520	SOFIA'S GIRL checked out off the heels of MAINLAND STAR into the first bend settling last. Around the top bend IT'S NOT EASY climbed on the hindquarters of LANA CEE both sustaing checks and coming back on BRASSED OFF. LANA CEE was subject to a veerinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 7	Shirley Veterinary Centre Dash - C3 - 295	Into the bend LES HART moved inwards checking CAWBOURNE SIENNA and JACKPOT JACKIE. Soon after LIVING THE DREAM moved outwards to collide with LES HART. Into the straight CAWBOURNE SIENNA and LES HART came together for a stride or two.
Race 8	Dave Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C4/5 - 520	SPEED TICKET drifted to the rear soon after the jump. Into the first bend WINSOME BUCKS and OPAWA SECRET were tightened by pressure from dogs on their outer. AKON STAR was vetted following the race and found to a have a tear at the top of his right gracilis muscle with a 21 day stand down recommended. OPAWA SECRET was found with a laceration to the top of his left hind foot with a 7 day stand down recommended.
Race 9	Murray@Re/max Ph.3715005 Dash - C5 - 295	Both LIAM BALE and DA BOSS were slow to jump. Into the straight LINDSAY CLEEVE checked out off the heels of DA BOSS running wide on the track.
Race 10	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C2 - 520	RONRAY CRUISER was tightened by THRILLING BUSTA soon after the jump. CROSSFIRE MAX and THRILLING BUSTA came together into the back straight.
Race 11	Merry Christmas Stakes - C4 - 520	IT'S HAPPY HOUR was slow to jump. Around the first bend and into the back straight KNOW QUESTION ran very wide taking IT'S HAPPY HOUR with him, both losing all chance as a result.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	KNOW DESIRE, KNOW LOVE and CAWBOURNE SHOT were forced onto the rail when GOSS SAGE ran down sharply towards the rail soon after the jump. Both KNOW DESIRE and KNOW LOVE were subject to veterinary checks which revealed KNOW DESIRE to have sustained a deep laceration to her left shoulder muscles and KNOW LOVE a deep laceration to his left stifle. A 28 day stand down for both dogs was recommended.
