Track: Good Two serious injuries occured during the meeting in Races 1 and 8, both the result of impacts between dogs. One injury resulted in euthanasia on humane grounds. The track surface was continually monitored throughout the meeting by the Curator and Stewards as per the Track Consultant's recommendations.

Race 1	Barron's Supplies Ph.3859438 Sprint - C2 - 295	KNOW ATTENTION fell when tightened between OHOKA DUKE and HONOUR into the bend with TOWER scrambling over the fallen dog. KNOW ATTENTION was able to complete the race with a veterinary check revealing a right hock sprain with a 21 day stand down recommended. ICE BALL was a late scratching when the trainers representative reported that the dog had been found dead in his kennel when about to be loaded to travel to the raceway after being in apparent good health when fed earlier in the morning.
Race 2	Bill's Bar & Bistro Dash - C4 - 295	CAFE CAPRI was slow from box 1. In the run to the bend MISSYS DAUGHTER and CAWBOURNE JODIE were tightened by WILD ST.TEDDY. Into the bend MISSYS DAUGHTER was tightened by OUR SWEET ROSE on her outer losing ground.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C4 - 520	SHAKEY BAKE was slow to jump but improved wide around the first bend to improve as did SABRE DANCE. In the home straight UNION STEAM checked out off the heels of SABRE DANCE.
Race 4	www.aaroncoullhearttransplant.co.nz Dash - C3 - 295	After the jump ICE ICE AMY ran outwards tightening LES HART and CAWBOURNE SIENNA. Into the bend ICE ICE AMY tightened BIGTIME SLAMMER.
Race 5	Garrard's Horse & Hound Stakes - C3 - 520	TIAN HAO SURFER and WHAT A MATE were tightened by BRASSED OFF as that dog moved down to the rail into the first bend.
Race 6	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C5 - 295	TUNZA REVS was tightened by CAWBOURNE CLICK into the bend. REWIND HISTORY was tightened between dogs soon after losing ground.
Race 7	Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C2 - 520	EL KILDA who lead early drifted out over the concluding stages of the race to finish last. A veterinary check revealed neck stiffness with a 5 day stand down recommended.
Race 8	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C5 - 295	SORRY VANDERFORD was slow to jump. Around the bend SORRY VANDERFORD checked off the heels of SUNSET BOMBER. Soon after DA BOSS ran wide when racing in the clear colliding with CARNABY who faultered finishing a long last. A veterinary check revealed a fractured hock resulting in CARNABY'S euthanasia on humane grounds.
Race 9	Yaldhurst Hotel Stakes - C5 - 520	WATMOUGH was tightened between dogs into the first bend. Soon after AWESOME BENDER checked out off WATMOUGH colliding heavily with MIXED GRILL who lost ground. Both AWESOME BENDER and OPAWA COLLAR collided heavily at the lure and both were the subject of veterinary checks which revealed no injury.
Race 10	I Pave Concrete Sprint - C2 - 295	At kennelling the Club Veterinarian reported that OPAWA CARLA may be in season but the signs were inconclusive. OPAWA CARLA was kennelled and checked again after Race 1 and was found in season resulting in her late scratching. NEED A NURSE was very slow to jump. Into the bend DAIMLER DAVE and WATCH THIS PAGE came together both sustaining checks.
Race 11	Murray@Re/max Ph.3715005 Sprint - C5 - 295	PAREORA DOLL and LES BAXTER were slow to jump and both came together into the bend with PAREORA DOLL losing further ground. Around the bend GET OUT THERE checked out off the heels of FOUR TO MIDNIGHT.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C4 - 295	CHARLIE STUBBS was tightened against the rail into the bend by SAFE AND SECURE. A veterinary check revealed nothing amiss.
