| Race 1 | Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457 | The favourite and first starter SEEING EXCUSES was the slowest to begin and he then ran a little wide on the bend and although observed to be making up ground in the straight, he still finished in last place. |
| Race 2 | Peter Sinclair Photos C0 - C0 - 375 | GLENORCHY and CLANG AND BANG were slow to begin and settled back. ULTIMATE SPICE moved in on the fiirst corner and checked LISSADELL REBEL and ERIC'S SONG who dropped back causing a check to GLENORCHY who lost further ground and he stayed back to finish last. ERIC'S SONG checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH BERRY on the bend and they both lost ground, ran wide into the straight and finished in the rear group. CLANG AND BANG was examined by the vet and stood down for 10 days with a haematoma on an elbow. The dog was re-examined at one of the Owners request latter in the day and the Vet confirmed his original decision to stand the dog down for 10 days. Subsequent to this race day CLANG AND BANG was reexamined under Rule 82.5 in the presence of a Steward and the stand down was recinded. |
| Race 3 | GEON Wellington C1 - C1 - 375 | HOMEBUSH BONITA began awkwardly losing four lengths. JUST TOM moved in slightly on the first turn and crowded HAPPY CLAPPY who lost ground and she stayed back to finish in last place. WIND CHIMES led from the start until approaching the straight entrance where she ran wide over extra ground but recovered to finish in 3rd place. |
| Race 4 | Foxton Stakes C1 - C1 - 457 | COUGH IT UP ran in from the start and bumped THRILLING ANNIE onto DANCING POWER who checked and lost ground. Soon after, THRILLING ANNIE galloped on the heels of COUGH IT UP and they both lost ground in the incident. DON'T KNOW led rounding the final bend but drifted out and forced the eventual winner SANTA SLOY to race wide. SANTA SLOY moved in short of the line and dictated the line of DON'T KNOW and FLOATING AWAY who both lost a little ground but they appeared not to have been likely to finish closer than 2nd and 3rd. |
| Race 5 | Cloverlea Dash C1 - C1 - 375 | WHO'S YA DUFFER went up with lids losing several lengths but then recovered well to finish in 2nd place. WHERE'S WALLY checked off the heels of BOTANY STORY on the first corner and went and out causing checks to NATHAN OPAWA and PINTA GUINNESS with all three losing ground. |
| Race 6 | Hokowhitu Dash C1/2 - C1/2 - 375 | FAST PAUSE who had won at its last two starts finshed several lengths last today and did not appear to be galloping correctly. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a pectoral muscle injury. |
| Race 7 | Woodville Dash C1/2 - C1/2 - 375 | YA GUNNA began well but bumped with OPTICAL MAN soon after but was still in the leading group. She then began to drift back and finished several lengths last and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with pectoral muscle and hip support injuries. |
| Race 8 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C3 - C3 - 375 | CATCH A DREAM was a late scratching when found to have a toe laceration when removed from the kennels to prepare to race. ROADMAN'S SHACK and ACHEW ACHEW collided soon after the start and ROADMAN'S SHACK settled well back but recovered to run on for 3rd placing. |
| Race 9 | Riverdale Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | STARFIRE BOY was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed well back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 10 | Manawatu Raceway Dash C 4/5 - C4/5 - 375 | BIGTIME SURVIVOR, SEMENYA and BOMBER MAN were all checked on the first corner and lost ground. LOW AND HIGHS was checked on the bend and dropped back and was galloped on and dragged down by BOMBER MAN who also lost ground in the incident. LOW AND HIGHS was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with pectoral, quadricep and tensor fascia late muscle injuries |
| Race 11 | Marton Dash C4 - C4 - 375 | THRILLING LEWIS checked off the heels of LOOKS DECIEVING on the bend and went quickly back to last and finished in that position. |
| Race 12 | Turakina Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 | The favourite TARRA MAGIC ran out in the run to the first corner and bumped with FREDDY JOHN. She then checked off the heels of SECRET CHLOE on the bend and lost two lengths but ran on to finish in 3rd place. |
