Track: Good Prior to the start of the meeting the track surface was checked and provided a consistent racing surface. Throughout the meeting the track was monitored by Stipendiary Steward Paul Harper, checked and water added in accordance with the maintenance schedule. The racing surface proved consistent throughout the day.

Race 1	Barron's Supplies Ph.3859438 Sprint Final - C1f - 295	From the jump GOTCHA LIFE ran inwards and severely checked the running of NIDDY NID and VERONICA, with NIDDY NID going quickly backwards to finish at the rear. In the run to the turn KNOW RIVAL pushed outwards and HOMEBUSH TIME ran inwards with a resulting tightening of UNO IMEGENE and FOREIGN GOING. Into the turn both KNOW RIVAL and VERONICA ran outwards, with VERONICA checking and pushing wide FAST TEDDY and FOREIGN GOING. After the race veterinary checks revealed NIDDY NID to have left wrist pain with a 14 day stand down recommended and FAST TEDDY had a torn left fore web with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C0 - 295	MERE LASS was slow to jump and never recovered to finish at the rear. On the turn LIGHTNING FEVER ran inwards and collided with FIERY FLOWER.
Race 3	Active Electrical Christchurch Ltd Stakes - C0 - 520	All clear.
Race 4	Coalgate Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295	Into the turn GOT THE BEETROOT crossed and tightened SPIRAL EBONY who lost ground.
Race 5	Celtic Arms Sprint - C0 - 295	BIG DADDY ECHO was wide in the run to the turn then crossed over into the bend and collided with CASLEY with both dogs losing ground.
Race 6	Angler's Arms Tavern Dash - C1 - 295	At the jump OFF THE RAILS ran outwards and came into contact with DISTINCT IMAGE. Into the turn BOO ROO ran outwards and hit OFF THE RAILS with KNOW LIFE clipping the heels of OFF THE RAILS and stumbling. The trailing DISTINCT IMAGE also received a check.
Race 7	Super Pets Stakes - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 8	Ross Bailey Motors Dash - C1 - 295	From the jump WHERE'S ROBYN ran inwards and checked the running of BLACK PAN abd CRASH GYBE.
Race 9	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1 - 520	SUPERIOR RANK was slow to jump. In the run to the first turn SERAPHINE JEWEL crossed over from an outside draw and tightened CAWBOURNE NORMA and FRITO BANDITO with resulting checks to SPIRIT OF GRACE and OKUKU STAR. In the home straight and improving SERAPHINE JEWEL clipped the rear of TOKEN RAGE and fell heavily before regaining her feet to finish the race. A veterinary check of SERAPHINE JEWEL showed no injury sustained in the fall.
Race 10	The Miller Bar & Cafe Sprint - C1 - 295	Into the turn MAGIC TEMPTRESS crossed and checked the running of BLACK MERCEDES who was struck from behind by ANOTHER DRIZZLE and went quickly backwards to lose all chance. JAG YOU ARE was also checked and forced wide during the incident.
Race 11	Dave Emerson Consultancy Stakes Final - C1f - 520	All clear.
Race 12	Back Next Tuesday Dash - C2 - 295	KNOW HELP and HOMEBUSH LENNY collided at the rear of the field when turning for home.
