| Race 1 | AWAPUNI DASH C0 - C0 - 375 | TEE KAY MASSIVE and SODA CYRUS were down in weight by 3.7 and 3.3 respectively after having spelled for several months. The Trainer advised the Stewards that the weight loss was intentional as they were too heavy in their previous campaigns and while the Vet was concerned with the loss, he was not prepared to recommend their scratching. Both dogs raced back in the field and with SODA CYRUS runnintg wide on the bend and TEE KAY MASSIVE receiving a slight check racing towards the home turn, they finished at the rear. SODA CYRUS is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing after finishing several lengths last. WALTZING FIREFLY began very awkwardly and knuckled over losing ground but recovered to finish in 4th place. |
| Race 2 | PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS C1 - C1 - 375 | BLACK IS BACK was handy to the first corner but checked off the heels of another runner and dropped back to finish in last place. |

| Race 4 | FOXTON DASH C1 - C1 - 375 | The eventual winner FAST PAUSE ran in from the start and checked HOMEBUSH DAPHNE, OH LORDY and BLACK DELORIAN who recovered best of those affected and finished in 2nd place with the other two well back. SISTER VIRTUE was the slowest to begin but then went forward quickly until checked on the bend losing four lengths and she stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. |
| Race 5 | CLOVERLEA DASH C2 - C2 - 375 | KNOW ATTENTION was a little slow to begin and then checked of the heels of PIN UP PUPPY on the first corner and again approaching the straight entrance losing ground on both occasions and she finished in 2nd last place. |

| Race 10 | MANAWATU RACEWAY DASH C3 - C3 - 375 | JUST DEFY THAT ran in sharply from the start and checked ICE ICE AMY, CATCH A DREAM, CAWBOURNE JADE and ROUGH ENFORCER with CATCH A DREAM and ICE ICE AMY being the most affected and they went back to the rear and stayed well back. CAWBOURNE MADGE was checked on the bend and went back checking CAWBOURNE JADE and they also finished well back. |
| Race 11 | MARTON SPRINT C4 - C4 - 375 | CAWBOURNE BUNDY was slow to begin and then raced wide on the bend and checked off the back of JACKSON CAT entering the home straight with both dogs losing ground and they finished in 6th and last places. |
| Race 12 | TURAKINA STAKES C2 - C2 - 457 | THRILLING ALI ran in from the start and collided with FIREMAN'S SALUTE and settled at the rear. PURE DREAMER, SECRET CHLOE, TAIL OFF and THRILLING ALI bumped together over several metres on the first corner and all lost ground and they finished in the last four places. |
