Judicial report: Trainer BL Goldsack was reminded of the club's policy of kennelling the first five races in the first half hour of kennelling. In relation to the non-appearance of RED RULES at a veterinary check last Sunday it was established that a breakdown in communication had resulted in trainer J Nixon not being informed of the check and he had left the course relatively quickly after the race. No further action was warranted.

Race 1	Reel-Fishin.com Sprint - C4 - 318	FANCY SPIDER and POSTMAN JIM collided on leaving the boxes and dropped to the rear while wider out THRILLING RUST was slow to jump. On the home turn THRILLING MIX and KERRIE'S FANTASY brushed together for a stride.
Race 2	Ashford Boarding Kennels and Cattery Stakes - C0 - 527	SURFER FOOT was tightened in the run to the first bend and lost ground. Favourite ELEPHUNK was badly checked into the bend as HIT DA NOSE crossed to the rail in front of her. ELEPHUNK made ground late for fourth. At the end of the back straight JETSUN JULES was badly dragged down by SAND QUEEN with both runners losing their chances. A post race veterinary check of JETSUN JULES revealed no injury.
Race 3	Trophies Plus Series Heat - C0q - 318 Heat 1	URUTI STORM, REFER TO RED and GLENORCHY were the last three to jump. REFER TO RED and URUTI STORM came together into the bend and lost ground. Shortly after WALTON GRACE and WARREN'S ONE came together with WARREN'S ONE being dragged down by ANITA WIN a couple of strides later. WARREN'S ONE dropped out to finish last and was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed no injury.
Race 4	Thornton Auctions Series Heat 1 - C1q - 527 Heat 1	BINGO STARR went up with the lids and settled last. ICHI NI was keen to get to the rail and dictated the line of FANCY KATE for some distance in the early stages.
Race 5	www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 318	Favourite UNIQUE POWER was last to jump. When improving in the back straight UNIQUE POWER ran inwards tightening MORE PORK and CORPORAL JONES with these two runners coming together and running to the outside losing ground. On the home turn an improving VALUE PACK checked off heels and lost momentum.
Race 6	$15,000 Pick Six Stakes - C1/2 - 527	ROYAL AKER and MADDER THAN were the last to jump.
Race 7	The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C5 - 318	ADDIS JAY was last to jump. TERRY STANLEY ran outwards in the back straight and this together with THRILLING ALERT running inwards caused tightening to KISSIN KATE, LADY HEATHER and PRIVATE PEDRO. On the bend LOW SELF ESTEEM checked off TERRY STANLEY for a stride.
Race 8	Thornton Auctions Series Heat 2 - C1q - 527 Heat 2	Due to a problem with the lens on the main camera vision of this race was severely restricted. It appeared that PLASMAH and GRADUATED CLASS came together at some stage and dropped to the rear. A post race veterinary check of GRADUATED CLASS revealed a gracilis injury with a twenty eight day stand down recommended.
Race 9	Carol's TABS Sprint - C3 - 318	WHAT"S SHE PAYNE ran inwards and cotacted THRILLING WAG into the bend and lost a length. Towards the rear THRILLING CAM was badly tightened soon after and dropped out to last.
Race 10	Magness Benrow Stakes - C4/5 - 527	All clear.
Race 11	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318	HONG KONG LOUIE was last to jump and then received a nasty check when attepmting to recover. Into the bend PUNGA'S LAD came together with JELLYSTONE PARK and then checked outwards off the back of SO DEEP with both runners losing ground. THRILLING KITE and HONG KONG LOUIE were also badly checked in this incident. On the home turn PUNGA'S LAD checked off the back of HONG KONG LOUIE losing a length.
