| Race 2 | www.agrc.co.nz Stakes - C0 - 527 | SAND QUEEN was tightened into the first bend and lost ground. OKAYS BENAYOUN and HIT DA NOS came together on the home turn and together with RED RULES raced in tight quarters in the run home with HIT DA NOS falling after the line. A post race veterinary check of HIT DA NOS revealed no injury. |
| Race 3 | Protector Safety Sprint - C1/2 - 318 | SPRING TYDE proved awkward to box. BOY SPICE, HOTWAX and REGAL TENT were the slowest away. Into the bend SPRING TYDE was keen to run outwards with PYFO WILLEE and WRAITH receiving checks and losing ground. |
| Race 4 | Trophies Plus Sprint - C1 - 318 | CORE POWER ran inwards at the jump contacting UTAR JET for a stride. CORE POWER checked outwards off the back of CORPORAL JONES into the bend and lost a couple of lengths. On the home turn UTAR JET ran outwards and came together with CORE POWER with these two runners coming together again shortly after. |
| Race 5 | Magness Benrow Stakes - C1 - 527 | THRILLING MARCH was last to jump. In the back straight THRILLING MARCH was checked as JUBILEE LINE tightened her with THRILLING MARCH losing a couple of lengths. She ran on late for fifth. |
| Race 6 | Greyhounds North maiden Series Heat - C0dq - 603 Heat 1 | SIPPIN TEQUILA was very slow to jump. JOHN DEED and OSTI'S RUBY were both tightened into the first bend losing ground. At the winning post on the first lap SIPPIN TEQUILA hit the running rail and ran outwards checking DARK FANCY and GLORIANNA who lost ground. A post race veterinary check of SIPPIN TEQUILA revealed no injury. DARK FANCY dropped right away with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. |
| Race 7 | Reel-Fishin.com Sprint - C3/4 - 318 | THRILLING RUST was last to jump. FANCY SPIDER was badly tightened and nearly fell into the bend checking ROTOVEGAS GIRL for a few strides with WINSOME DELTA being checked out of the race at this stage. Post race veterinary checks of WINSOME DELTA and FANCY SPIDER revealed no injury to FANCY SPIDER but WINSOME DELTA had a shoulder laceration requiring sutures with a ten day stand down recommended. |
| Race 8 | NZRS Middle Distance Final - NZRSf - 527 | MAMAJA was last to jump. HAILEY'S AGENT checked off the heels of the pacemaking MY JACK ATTACK at the entrance to the back straight and lost a length. MY JACK ATTACK and HAILEY'S AGENT came together for a stride on the home turn with HAILEY'S AGENT making the bend awkwardly for a few strides as a result. |
| Race 9 | Carols TABS Sprint - C3 - 318 | DREAM A WIN ran inwards in the back straight tightening THRILLING WAG who lost ground. BIGTIME MOE checked outwards on to BAD STATE into the bend as WHAT'S SHE PAYNE came away from the fence. |
| Race 10 | Terry Ryan Timber Sprint - C5 - 318 | Favourite DARK CAVALIER was last to jump. LOCHINVAR PRINCE was checked on the bend when well back and dropped to the rear. |
| Race 11 | The Brownzy Sports Bar Stakes - C4/5 - 527 | EXCELLENT BEC checked off a weakening DAME DIMANTE at the end of the back straight and was held up for room along with EMBLAZING for some distance on the home bend. |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318 | PEPPER LICIOUS was crossed by DUNN ROBIN YOU into the bend and then badly dragged down by VALUE PACK soon after losing ground with KARAMU THUNDER and UTAR NANA being checked at this stage. A post race veterinary check of PEPPER LICIOUS revealed a grazed pad with a five day stand down recommended. |
