Weather: Fine
Track: Good Around 2.00pm there was a loss of water supply to the track and kennel block when contractors working nearby turned off one of the main supplies. There was sufficient water on the track itself to provide a safe surface for the next two races and alternative water was available for ensuring hydration of dogs in the kennel area. Water supply was restored some 30 minutes later.
Scales: Correct at all weights.
Health and Safety comment: Nil.

Judicial report: UNIQUE ROSIE (I.Fensom) successfully completed a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 81.1.
Mr D.Kingston the trainer of MOGADISHU, a starter in Race 6, was charged under Rule 69.11 when presenting the greyhound to race at 34.4kg which was 1.6g above his last race start weight of 34.4kg on 29 October 2010. Mr Kingston admitted the charge and was fined $100 under the GRNZ minor infringement penalty system.

Race 1	Barron's Supplies Ph 3859438 Dash - C1 - 295	On the first turn GOZO DANCER checked off the rear of BLUE BULLET and lost ground. MAGIC TEMPTRESS was slow to jump and made ground late, but appeared to limp when walking off the track and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a mild sprain to the left hind hock with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Stakes - C0 - 520	From the jump JUST TEASING and OPAWA BLACK crossed over with a resulting check to OKUKU BLAZE, MEDIVAC and OKUKU OLLIE.
Race 3	Murray@Re/Max Ph 3715005 Sprint - C0q - 295 Heat 1	ERIC'S SONG was slow to jump. On the turn BABY FALOU was struck from behind by an improving CRASH GYBE and lost ground. BABY FALOU was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 4	Murray@Re/Max Ph 3715005 Sprint - C0q - 295 Heat 2	In the run to the turn HOMEBUSH CECIL crossed from the outside box and checked the running of PIGALLE. Into the turn MARDIE was struck from behind by SHARKIE'S SPEED with both dogs losing ground to finish back in the field. MARDIE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury, but a veterinary check of JAG YOU ARE revealed the dog to have a torn right hind toe nail with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 5	Murray@Re/Max Ph 3715005 Sprint - C0q - 295 Heat 3	From the jump HOMEBUSH DIP ran sharply inwards and checked the running of BLACK MERCEDES, HOMEBUSH TAYLOR and IMPERATIVE. Into the turn CALINDA when up near the lead ran outwards and came into contact with OPAWA THORN before losing momentum and running outwards forcing HOMEBUSH DIP wide.
Race 6	Murray@Re/Max Ph 3715005 Sprint - C0q - 295 Heat 4	BARKING MAD and MOGADISHU were slow to jump. Into the turn ANOTHER DRIZZLE crossed over and came into contact with AERIAL BAXTER then stumbled and went back checking the running of MOGADISHU and HARRY GOODWIN.
Race 7	Active Electrical Christchurch Ltd Stakes - C1 - 520	From the jump KNOW WHICH ran inwards and struck MY BLIND SIDE who fell heavily and lost all chance. KNOW TELLING also received a severe check when struck by the falling MY BLIND SIDE but ran on well late in the race. MY BLIND SIDE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 8	www.aaroncoullhearttranspant.co.nz Sprint - C1 - 295	On the turn DADDY'S MISTAKE ran outwards and forced HAMPDEN JACK wide.
Race 9	Hampden Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 10	Garrard's Horse And Hound Dash - C1 - 295	SPIN A TITLE, MEASLES and HAYLEY'S WISH were all slow to jump.
Race 11	Canteen-Supporting Young Kiwis Living With Canceer Stakes - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C1 - 295	WILLY'S PRIDE and GENISTA LIGHTNIN were slow to jump. In the straight DONNA BAXTER ran in and came into contact with SOMETIMES ALAN, losing momentum but recovering to finish on strongly and win.
