| Race 1 | Deli's Sports Bar Sprint - C1 - 318 | CORPORAL JONES and UNIQUE POWER came together for a stride soon after the jump. Into the bend BOY SPICE wanted to run outwards and contacted UNIQUE POWER with HOTWAX being tightened in between them and losing ground. VALUE PACK was also impeded losing momentum. CORPORAL JONES was pushed wide at this point and remained wide around the home turn losing ground. After the race the starter reported that handler S Mann was excessively noisy when boxing his dog. Mr Mann stated that his dog HOTWAX is difficult to box and he was attempting to ensure that the dog would jump. Mr Mann was advised that excessive noise at boxing would not be tolerated. HOTWAX was placed on the box first list for upcoming engagements. |
| Race 2 | Ashford Boarding Kennels and Cattery Stakes - C0 - 527 | PEPPER LICIOUS and SIPPIN TEQUILA were the last to jump. PEPPER LICIOUS and IBHANSI came together for some distance around the first turn with IBHANSI dropping out to last. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. PEPPER LICIOUS and SURFER FOOT also came together on the final turn when at the rear. |
| Race 3 | Reel-Fishin.com Sprint - C0 - 318 | The collar of MSHINDI proved difficult to remove at the start of this race with this runner being loaded a few seconds after the rest of the field. MSHINDI was then the last to jump. Into the bend MSHINDI angled outwards and was severely checked by REFER TO RED with MSHINDI dropping out. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. Following the race THRILLING BEV was found to have torn webbing with a twenty one day stand down recommended. |

| Race 6 | NZRS Middle Distance Heats - NZRSq - 527 Heat 1 | PURE DREAMER was last to jump. RASMAH and RUN RILEY RUN came together for a stride as MY JACK ATTACK crossed quickly to lead into the first bend. THRILLING QUEST attempted to cross to the inside on the first bend and came into contact with RUN RILEY RUN. THRILLING QUEST fell at this point with RUN RILEY RUN being severely checked. PURE DREAMER and RASMAH were both hampered in this incident. A post race veterinary check of THRILLING QUEST revealed no injury. |
| Race 7 | Greyhounds North Maiden Distance Series Heat - C0dq - 603 Heat 1 | ROYAL AKER and THRILLING AXEL were the last to jump. THRILLING APRIL and MISS JETSUN came together for a stride into the first bend. THRILLING APRIL checked outwards off the heels of THRILLING ALERT on the second bend and lost a couple of lengths. |
| Race 8 | NZRS Middle Distance Heats - NZRSq - 527 Heat 2 | COLD FINGERS and HAILEY'S AGENT were the last to jump. On the home turn THRILLING DARLS and SIXTY TWENTY came together when well back in the field. |
| Race 9 | The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C3 - 318 | FANCY SPIDER was tightened into the bend and lost ground. On the home turn WHAT'S SHE PAYNE ran inwards checking MR SOUTHS down onto BIGTIME MOE who lost ground. |
