| Race 1 | ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C0 - C0 - 305 | CALM EXPRESS and INTENSE ZOOM were slow to begin and they stayed well back to finish in the rear group. HOMEBUSH CECIL and ELLAVA SCRAP jostled together in the run to the first corner when pressured from the outside and ELLAVA SCRAP eventually checked and went out forcing LISSADELL TOBY wide into the bend. |
| Race 2 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C0 - C0 - 520 | ARCHIE'S JET was slow to begin and was still in last place on the first corner but he gradually improved through the field to finish in 3rd place. NIGEL'S DRIVING and MELODY'S MUSE bumped together on the first corner and MELODY'S MUSE went out onto RHYME IN MELODY who was pushed wide going into the bend. MELODY'S MUSE was checked entering the back straight , went back to last and finished in that position. ARCHIE'S JET moved out entering the straight and forced CATCH A PENNIE and RHYME IN MELODY wide over extra ground. |
| Race 3 | GUTHRIE BOWRON C0 - C0 - 305 | RUSTY SAM and MANAIA FLYER who had both not started for several months were up in weight by 4.2 and 2.8 kilograms respectively and the Trainer P.Clarke stated that this was by design and the dogs were passed fit to race. RUSTY SAM began awkwardly and then ran out and collided with URITI STORM and they jostled for a few strides. MANAIA FLYER and HOMEBUSH DIGBY were tightened on the first corner as HOMEBUSH JODIE moved in and they dropped back onto URITI STORM and RUSTY SAM with all four dogs losing all chance and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 4 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C0 - C0 - 520 | SMASH BANG WIN and RUN PATCHES RUN collided and lost ground soon after the start. RUN PATCHES RUN then raced in 7th place throughout and drifted back over the final stages and finished several lengths behind the 3rd last dog and he was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. MISSING MELODY went off stride on the first corner and dropped out to finish a long last and she was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a cut brisket and bruising. |
| Race 5 | VITA POWER C1 HT1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 | HOMEBUSH NELSON ran in from the start and bumped SURF SUNSET and they settled back in the field. KEITH'S VEE ATE eased over the heels of LYNDOUR GEM and lost ground on the first corner. CAWBOURNE WAYNE checked over the heels of LYNDOUR GEM entering the back straight and moved out causing checks to KEITH'S VEE ATE and RUN BROADY RUN and they never recovered annd finished in the rear group. |
| Race 6 | OFFICEMAX C1 - C1 - 305 | ONE WILD THING was racing in mid field and adjacent to the rail on the first corner but was checked when FREE COPY moved in and he went back to near the rear and stayed there to the finish. GREAT AUNTY MIN faltered free of interferance approaching the home turn and dropped out to finish several lengths last and she was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a fractured hock. |
| Race 7 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS C1 HT2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2 | MR METICULOUS was checked twice going into the first bend and lost ground but recovered to finish in 2nd place. OH LORDY checked off the heels of LOVELY HAND on the first bend losing three lengths and she stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 8 | MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR C1 HT3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3 | ELLA'S ANGEL and KERRY'S DELIGHT collided on the first turn and TARGET HAND was also checked in the incident and they all lost ground. Soon after SISTER VIRTUE and KIWISAVER were also checked and raced well back from there to the finish. |
| Race 9 | KEENAN CONCRETE C1 HT4 - C1q - 520 Heat 4 | Runners drawn wide moved in soon after the start and this resulted in checks to STATELY BABE, ASK PLEASE, HOMEBUSH WARRIOR and FOREVER WITHIN who lost several lengths. HOMEBUSH WARRIOR and STATELY BABE recovered to finish in the first two places. |
| Race 10 | MEDIA WORKS C1 HT5 - C1q - 520 Heat 5 | SECRET CHLOE and GIMME A DREAM were both checked and lost ground on the first corner and they stayed well back to finish in the rear group. |
| Race 11 | BROAD ROOFING SERVICES C1 - C1 - 305 | FAST PAUSE made contact with the rail on the first corner and lost four lengths. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 5 days with bruising. |
| Race 12 | WWW.WANGANUICARCENTRE.COM C1 - C1 - 305 | BRUTUS FINALE, SEDGEBROOK LEE and GROOVY BANDIT jostled together for a few strides soon after the start and settled back. One of the favourites AUSTIN WILD was away well and 2nd on the first corner but he then began to drift back through the field where BOTANY ANGELA collided with him on the home turn and they finished in the last two places. AUSTIN WILD was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. BRUTUS FINALE was also examined following the race and was cleared of injury. |
