Judicial report: L.Ahern the Trainer of GENERAL VIEW was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when the dog was presented 1.6 kilograms overweight from its last start weight.

Race 1	AWAPUNI STAKES C0 - C0 - 457	TEPIRITA CRUZE and ARCHIE'S JET were slow to begin and settled at the rear. GROOVY SHANE moved in on the bend and caused a check to EXCUSE A VISION who lost several lengths. ARCHIE'S JET and EXCUSE A VISION collided in the straight and EXCUSE A VISION again lost some ground.
Race 2	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS C0 - C0 - 375	EXCUSABLE was the slowest to begin and then jostled with CLANG AND BANG on the first corner and she finished in the rear group.
Race 3	GEON WELLINGTON C1 - C1 - 375	ROADMAN'S SHACK, ADDICTED TO LOVE, LOVELY HAND and HOMEBUSH BONITA were all checked on the first corner and lost ground. ROADMAN'S SHACK recovered best of those and finished in 4th place.
Race 4	FOXTON DASH C1 - C1 - 375	TIZA FEVER and HOMEBUSH JONAH were both slow to begin with HOMEBUSH JONAH losing several lengths and all chance. FAST PAUSE ran in and MISS COOKA ran out at the start and BOTANY ANGELA who was drawn between was checked. MISS COOKA bumped AUSTIN WILD on the first corner and soon after AUSTIN WILD ran on the heels of FAST PAUSE and they both lost ground.
Race 5	CLOVERLEA SPRINT C2 - C2 - 375	WHERE'S WALLY moved out from the rail on the first corner and checked HOMEBUSH MELL and ACE DRUMARD who went back to the tail of the field and they stayed back to finish in the rear group. BOTANY HORNET was handy early in the race but drifted racing around the bend and finished in last place. BOTANY HORNET was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with injuries to pectoral and deltoid muscles.
Race 6	HOKOWHITU STAKES C1 - C1 - 457	SURFING AL galloped on the back of GIMME A DREAM on the bend and fell and TRAVEL THYME was unable to avoid the fallen dog and also fell. Both dogs were examined by the Vet and TRAVEL THYME was stood down for 28 days with a hamstring injury while SURFING AL was cleared of injury.
Race 7	WOODVILLE DASH C3 - C3 - 375	FIVE KAY KAT moved in on the first corner and checked CAWBOURNE MADGE who lost ground. Soon after, CAWBOURNE MADGE checked over the heels of FIVE KAY KAT and moved out forcing ROUGH ENFORCER wide racing into the bend.
Race 8	Group 2 NI Challenge Stakes Heat 1 - C5q - 457 Heat 1	The favourite WINSOME OPAWA began awkwardly and was last away but he made up ground well to finish in 3rd place.
Race 9	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C5 - C5 - 375	GENERAL VIEW was the slowest to begin and settled at the rear. ELITE LUKE who drew box 1 wanted to race away from the rail and was checked as KID KOONAWARRA moved in on the first corner and he went out causing checks to FLASH ENFORCER and BOMBER MAN who both lost ground and they stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 10	Group 2 NI Challenge Stakes Heat 2 - C5q - 457 Heat 2	BIGTIME GEM ran in from the start and dictated the line of OPAWA COLLAR, THRILLING CAIRO and AWESOME BENDER who was the most affected and he settled well back but finished very well to win.
Race 11	MARTON DASH C4 - C4 - 375	The favourite DADDY LOWE was forced to race wide over extra ground throughout after drawing box 6 and he finished in 5th place.
Race 12	TURAKINA STAKES C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	All clear.
