WALTZING FIREFLY, CATCH ME CARTER, EXCUSABLE and GROOVY SHANE came together and jostled together going into the back straight and they all lost ground and finished in the last four places. |

SEDGEBROOK ELITE ran in soon after the start and collided with MINI DEAN and lost ground. DONNA BAXTER moved in on the first corner and caused checks to MINI DEAN, GAZZA'S PRIDE and SEDGEBROOK ELITE who all lost ground. GAZZA'S PRIDE was the most affected and she lost five lengths while the other two recovered to finish in 2nd and 3rd places. |
| Race 3 | GUTHRIE BOWRON C0 - C0 - 520 | The favourite EXCUSE A VISION started from box 8 and when attempting to move in on the first corner, she was bumped by CATCH A PENNIE , lost ground and went back to last. She did make up ground to finish in 4th place. |
| Race 4 | CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C2 - C2 - 305 | GOZO DANCER, SINGLE SCULLER and CAWBOURNE TEXAS jostled together soon after the start and lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the rear group. CAWBOURNE MADGE recieved an interrupted run during the race and finished in last place. |

KEITHY GEE fell in the incident with the others losing varying amounts of ground. KEITHY GEE was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |

SURF SUNSET ran out from the start and checked RUN BROADY RUN and she then ran in on the first corner and collded with ASK PLEASE and they both lost a little momentum at that point. |

UPAHUT CRYSTAL was handy and adjacent to the rail on the first corner but was checked losing several lengths and she never recovered and finished in 2nd last place. |
| Race 10 | KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 520 | MR METICULOUS ran in on the first corner and caused checks to itself and also to RUN TESS RUN, HOMEBUSH WILD MY BAD JONNY and CYNTHIA BAXTER with RUN TESS RUN, HOMEBUSH WILD and CYNTHIA BAXTER being the most affected and they lost several lengths and finished at the rear. KIWISAVER was very slow to begin but received a clear run through inside the early skirmish and finished in 2nd place. |
