Into the bend HOMEBUSH REECE checked out off the heels of the leader RONRAY DISCO colliding with GET OUT THERE who in turn was forced out onto OHOKA KERRY, these two losing ground. |

Into the back straight REDDY BOY checked out off the heels of AKON STAR colliding with UNION STEAM. |

CHILE TART was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a right hip support injury with a 14 day stand down recommended. Around the bend BRADMAN'S WILLOW moved outwards forcing FOUR ONE CHARLIE over extra ground. |
| Race 5 | Challenge Service Stations Semi Final - C5q - 520 Heat 1 | ULTIMATE DREAM was slow to jump. ZITA GRACE was tightened by THRILLING CAIRO as that dog improved along the rail. Soon after ULTIMATE DREAM ran into the hindquarters of WODSTON BOBO, both losing momentum. OPAWA SECRET sustained a tail injury at the pull up resulting in a recommended stand down of 14 days. |
| Race 6 | Challenge Service Stations Semi Final - C5q - 520 Heat 2 | BOTANY KELLY moved off the rail in the run to the first bend tightening SUDDEN SAM, AWESOME BENDER and FANCY STEP on her outer. Soon after KNOW TRUTH was dragged down between dogs. Around the bend SUDDEN SAM improved along the rail colliding with BOTANY KELLY who was forced out onto KNOW TRUTH before colliding with the hindquarters of WINSOME BUCKS into the back straight. WINSOME BUCK lost mometum as a result. |

TATTY BOGLE was tightened into the first bend before coming in contact with EMBLAZING. EMBLAZING improved along the rail into the top bend before being tightened by QUETEE JEWEL, losing momentum. |
