Judicial report: Owner/trainer JS HOLDEM was charged witha breach of Rule 69.11 as a result of KUNG FU TEDDY, a starter in Race 5, weighed in 1.7kgs under his last race start weight of 22 October 2010. He was fined $100.00 in accordance with the GRNZ Minor Infringement System.

Race 1	ADDDED ENERGY WELCOME - C0 - 390	THRILLING ROBYN ran out at the jump colliding with CRASH GYBE and ANOTHER DRIZZLE. CEE CEE ARE ran wide into the bend.
Race 2	www.southlandgreyhound.co.nz - C0 - 457	ERIC'S SONG ran in after the jump to collide with the hindquarters of FREDDIE BAXTER. MR.MEADE was tightened by FREDDIE BAXTER into the bend. MR.FONTERRA was clear in the lead around the bend and was observed to ease into the straight. Trainer BA EADE was shown the race film by Stewards who deemed the dog's performance to be unsatisfactory in terms of Rule 81. As a result MR.FONTERRA was ordered to complete a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 81. 1.
Race 3	BRENDON BURKE @ SOUTHERNWIDE - C0 - 390	MOREPORT SHANNON was very slow to jump. OZARK'S CROWN checked out off the hindquarters of LA PYTHON into the bend.
Race 4	SOUTHERN FLOOR CARE LTD - C1 - 390	HOMEBUSH WILD jumped awkwardly from the boxes. Into the bend WILLY'S PRIDE ran down towards the rail checking WEE SHADOW and FANCY WAYS. Soon after HAYLEY'S WISH moved outwards tightening THRILLING HALLE. Around the bend HOMEBUSH WILD struck the heels of HAYLEY'S WISH before checking outwards to collide with the hindquarters of SPIRIT OF GRACE.
Race 5	$26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C1 - 390	KUNG FU TEDDY and MYRA BEE came together afte jump. Into the bend KUNG FU TEDDY crossed down to the rail in front of OZARK'S MASK, and was dragged down falling before regaining his feet to finish. A post race veterinary check revealed pain on extension of the right stifle with a 28 day stand down recommended.
Race 6	SGRC BOUNCE B POWDER - C1 - 457	Soon after the jump CROSSFIRE MAX ran outwards colliding with SLIGHTLY AMAZING who was forced onto BAKE BEAN BETTY. Into the bend THAT'S BIZAAR moved off the rail to tighten RONRAY CRUISER. In the home straight GUY BAXTER moved inwards tightening OKUKU FLYER short of the winning post resulting in a check to OKUKU FLYER.
Race 7	$25 YARD MUZZLE STAKES - C2 - 390	The favourite CAWBOURNE STARS jumped awkwardly from the boxes settling last. Into the bend CHASIN' CROWS struck the hindquarters of GOZO DANCER losing momentum.
Race 8	SGRC STAMINA PLUS POWDER - C1/2 - 457	SUPERIOR RANK scrambled from the boxes to settle well back. OCTANE AL drifted to a clear last before running on late. KNOX was tightened by BRASSED OFF into the bend losing momentum as a result.
Race 9	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1 - 390	PARTICULAR GIRL and out from the rail as ANOTHER LEGIN moved inwards in the run to the bend resulting in MISS YOU HONEY being tightened and checked before being hit by KAYTEE DIVA and falling with checks to RED TIGER and TOWER. MISS YOU HONEY regained her feet and finished the race. A veterinary check revealed left elbow pain on extension with a 14 day stand down recommended. ANOTHER LEGIN fell at the lure and was also subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 10	KELVIN HOTEL - C1/2 - 457	SHAZZ'S SAINT drifted out soon after the jump. Into the bend MALROY was checked by FIRESIDE BLAZE before FIRESIDE BLAZE struck the hindquarters of BLACK SHELLEEN. Soon after MY BLIND SIDE was tightened by HIGHGROVE before being struck from behind by MALROY, all three losing ground. SHAZZ'S SAINT who finished last was subject to a veterinary check which revealed revealed nothing amiss. The trainers representative R CAIRNS was shown the race film and advised that this was probably the dog's last race start. Stewards deemed the performance to be unsatisfactory resulting in SHAZZ'S SAINT being required to complete a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 81.1. Subsequent to the meeting SHAZZ'S SAINT was examined on 02 November 2010 by Shirley Veterinary Centre and found to have a large tear to the left gracilus with a 28 day stand down recommended. Veterinarian Lesley Roberts confirmed that this serious injury would have caused the dog to drift quickly as it did in the race. As a consequence the Satisfactory Trial was rescinded by Stewards. Trainer R CCASY confirmed that SHAZZ'S SAINT had been retiredas a result of the injury.
Race 11	ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C3 - 390	HO HO PAREORA ran in after the start colliding with BOTANY FREDA and losing ground. Into the bend WINSOME FLYER and HOMEBUSH LENNY came together for a number of strides losing ground.
Race 12	justracing.com.au - C3/4 - 457	REDDY BOY ran out after the jump forcing GUTTER BLACK wide into the bend.
