Judicial report: Handler Luisa Wright was spoken to advisedly about the importance of making sure that Greyhounds are at all times under control and that when placing them in vehicles, she must ensure that the dog cannot escape. No charges were preferred due to her inexperience.

Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C0 - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH TINA moved in on the first turn and checked MARJI MAYCEE who lost five lengths and she finished in last place. VITA GIRL appeared to be holding 2nd place comfortably on the bend but then ran very wide over extra ground approaching the straight entrance and dropped back to finish in 3rd place.
Race 2	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES C0 - C0 - 520	The favourite MY BAD JONNY and the eventual winner NIGEL THE LEGIN were both slow to begin losing three lengths. NIGEL THE LEGIN recovered quickly to be in the lead soon after entering the back straight and went on to win well. MY BAD JONNY stayed back throughout and finished in 2nd last place. SEDGBROOK LEE moved in on the first corner and caused checks to CATCH A PENNIE and TWIN TIGERS who both lost ground.
Race 3	GUTHRIE BOWRON C0 - C0 - 305	INTENSE ZOOM ran out soon after the start and checked URUTI STORM, HOMEBUSH HIFI and HOMEBUSH JODIE who all lost ground. HOMEBUSH HIFI moved in on the first corner and caused tightening to URUTI STORM and CLANG AND BANG for a couple of strides and soon after, HOMEBUSH JODIE shifted out and bumped FLICK ATTACK and MOANA BLUE who both lost ground in the incident.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C1 - C1 - 305	TUI CAN DO ran out from the start and hindered CAWBOURNE BEAR and LITTLE RIDDLE for a few strides. LITTLE RIDDLE continued to race wide over extra ground and finished at the rear.
Race 5	VITA POWER C1 - C1 - 520	The well supported YA GUNNA who was a last start winner on 22.10.10, jumped well to lead into the first bend but then dropped back through the field and she finished several lengths last. YA GUNNA was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury and the Trainer will advise the Stewards should any injury surface in following days.
Race 6	OFFICEMAX C1 - C1 - 305	UPAHUT WITCH was handy to the first corner but was awkwardly placed between CRYSTAL SAL and MYA FLYER and she was checked back to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 7	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS C1 - C1 - 305	KNIGHTS PEICE, BRUTUS FINALE and AUSTIN WILD all jostled together soon after the start and lost ground. AUSTIN WILD recovered to finish in 3rd place with the other two dogs towards the rear. BRUTUS FINALE was checked on the first corner and lost ground.
Race 8	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR C1 FINAL - C1f - 305	DADDY LOWE ran out from box 1 at the start and caused jostling and checks to JACKSON CAT and BOTANY HORNET. HOMEBUSH JAG moved in towards the rail on the first turn and checked TINY TITCH who lost four lengths and she stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 9	KEENAN CONCRETE C 0/1 D - C1d - 645	MUSTARD KEEN was checked when racing to the first corner when BOTANY MATTHEW moved across towards the rail and she lost four lengths. MUSTARD KEEN finished in last place and she was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a cut elbow which required stitching.
Race 10	BILDERBECK CONSTRUCTION C1 - C1 - 305	THRILLING ANNIE checked over the heels of THRILLING DEE on the first corner and lost a little ground.
Race 11	GARY ROSS DECORATOR C1 FEATURE - C1 - 305	BIGTIME LUCKY was checked on the bend losing several lengths and she finished in 2nd last place. OUR NICKI GALLOP led by four lengths on the bend but faltered and quickly dropped out to finish several lengths last. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a fractured hock.
Race 12	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES C1 FEATURE - C1 - 305	MANLY MAGIC, UTAR NANA and FANCY EEL were all checked on the first corner and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
