Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C1 - C1 - 305	DADDY LOWE (fav)was away well from the start but was squeezed between STATEOF PARDON and BIGTIME LUCKY and went back a couple of lengths at that point,soon after DADDY LOWE checked back off the heels of STATE OF PARDON on the top bend and was hampered again but ran on well for 3rd placing at the line. On the point of the home turn STATE OF PARDON and BOTANY ANGELA both changed ground inwards at the same time and came together causing them to lose a bit of ground at that crucial stage.
Race 2	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES C1 - C1 - 520	As the field raced down to the first turn LEO'S BOY came across on to HOMEBUSH BAZIL, WHAT WAYS HOME and RUN BROADY RUN causing these dogs to be tightened for a few strides and losing ground which they could not make up thereafter.
Race 3	GUTHRIE BOWRON C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	As the field raced on to the top bend HOMEBUSH DAPHNE was tightened between runners and got on to the heels of PEACE ICON and went back quickly in to the path of HOMEBUSH NELSON resulting in these two dogs losing several lengths and they could not get in to contention there after filling the last two placings at the line.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	ASH VEGAS (fav) was away well from the start but soon tried to come out off the fence and came together with ROTKARA MOMENTS and went back through the field towards the rear and was not able to get in to contention from there on in. Racing in to the first turn CAWBOURNE MADZ came across on to GREAT AUNTY MIN who was checked and went back to wards the rear and could not make ground up there after. GREAT AUNTY MIN was vetted and was found to have suffered a split webbing with a 21 day stand down recommended
Race 5	VITA POWER C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	As the field came down to the post first time SNOW TRAIL tightened NIP TUCK who came out to aviod her and took HOMEBUSH BONITA, KERRY'S DELIGHT, DOOLEY,S CHICK and MR JAZZ MAN wide in to and around the first bend and they all lost a lot of ground which they could not make up there after. Going out of the turn first time RUN RILEY RUN ran outwards and hampered SNOW TRAIL for some distance in to and down the back straight. SNOW TRAILwas again hampered close to the home turn coming in to contact with NIP TUCK for a couple of strides. SNOW TRAIL was sent for a vet check as a precaution where no abnormalities were found. DOOLEY'S CHICK was vetted and found to have suffered a dislocated toe on left hind with a 21 day stand down recommended
Race 6	OFFICEMAX C3 - C3 - 305	Racing down to the first turn KEACHY'S MATE and AWESOME VINTAGE came together and jostled for several strides,AS FAST AS who was racing in behind these dogs got on the heels of KEACHY'S MATE and went back to the rear and never recovered to get in to contention from there on in.
Race 7	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	As the field raced in to the first turn there was tightning in midfield resulting SHEZA RATBAG,HOMEBUSH BROCK and MIRAGE ROYAL all moving ground outwards racing wide in to the first bend and losing ground as thay raced in to the back straight.
Race 8	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR C3 - C3 - 520	Soon after leaving the boxes LAGOON BEACH BOY and MELANDRI came together for a couple of strides with LAGOON BEACH BOY becoming unbalanced as they raced in to the first turn. BONNIE BOUCHEA and OKAY'S DE BRITTO came together in to the first turn and jostled for several strides resulting in BONNIE BOUCHEA checking back to the rear losing several lengths and made up good ground late in the race.
Race 9	BILDERBECK CONSTRUCTION C5 - C5 - 305	HIFI ALLEGRO(fav) was slow away from the start and then squeezed between HOMEBUSH CHARLI and BILLY WHIZ and went back to the rear ,there was no room for her to improve through the field ,she tried to race around the field but had to cover alot of extra ground and finished in last position at the line
Race 10	KEENAN CONCRETE, WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	Favourite BARKHAMSTED was crossed by ADDIS JAY and lost ground into the first bend. BARKHAMSTED was then forced to check off the heels of GEOFF PHOENIX into the back straight losing more ground.
Race 11	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES C5 - C5 - 305	UPAHUT STAR was very slow to jump. SCOTT NO WIVES ran inwards on to OPAWA MEGASTAR while wider out KILKENNY tightened ELITE LUKE. REGAL OUTLAW then ran inwards on to KILKENNY and CAWBOURNE WHIZ climbed over the heels of SCOTT NO WIVES with this runner losing momentum for a few strides.
Race 12	MEDIA WORKS C4 - C4 - 305	Mr Whisker was slow away ,gained a run up on the rails as they raced across the top bend ,he ran up on to the heels of Jill Baxter and lost several lengths at that point.
