| Race 2 | www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C1 - 390 | THRILLING CYBIL and BOMBAY TRAM settled at the rear after the jump. In the run to the bend PARTICULAR GIRL moved outwards forcing WOOF INGILLTAB into the path of THRILLING CYBIL both dogs being checked. PARTICULAR GIRL continued her outward movement checking SURFIN' BIZAAR who lost all chance as a result. |

| Race 5 | BRENDON BURKE @ SOUTHERNWIDE - C1 - 390 | THRILLING PEACH and RED TIGER were tightened soon after the start. RED TIGER improved between dogs around the bend before running out into the home straight colliding with SKIPPING RHYMES who in turn was pushed into the path of OZARK'S MASK. RED TIGER was vetted and found with a painful left shoulder with a 7 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 6 | SGRC STAMINA PLUS POWDER - C3 - 390 | BIGTIME SLAMMER stumbled from the boxes losing ground. Soon after GENISTA FLAME and HOMEBUSH LENNY came together. Into the bend VAMPIRES SHADOW ran out checking HO HO PAREORA, GENISTA FLAME and HOMEBUSH LENNY. VAMPIRES SHADOW sustained a wound to the left foreleg which required sutures with a 14 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 7 | $26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C1 - 457 | THAT'S BIZAAR and LOU BALE came together soon after the jump. MIGHTY PROPHET ran outwards after the start colliding with SHAZZ'S SAINT before running out further into the bend to collide with LOU BALE. Soon after MIGHTY PROPHET'S outward movement, REAL CLEVER ran outwards to come in contact with SHAZZ'S SAINT. MIGHTY PROPHET was vetted and found with a wound to his right hind foot which required sutures. A 21 day stand down was recommended. |

FIRESIDE BLAZE moved outwards colliding with WHAT A MATE and MARKO POLO. Into the bend WODSTON BOBO and EL KILDA tightened MOST HAUNTED and CAWBOURNE BOLT with MOST HAUNTED checking outwards to collide with FIRESIDE BLAZE and MARKO POLO. |
| Race 10 | ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C1/2 - 457 | MAINLAND STAR and RONRAY CRUISER came together after the jump. LAGER IN PARIS ran out in the run to the bend colliding with MAINLAND STAR and RONRAY CRUISER. Soon after REAL SLIM SHADY and MY BLIND SIDE came together into the bend losing ground. |
| Race 11 | SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C4 - 390 | KNOCK 'EM DOWN ran inwards in the run to the bend tightening GUTTER BLACK, TEDDY NOVA, CAWBOURNE CLICK and BOTANY ANN who all lost ground. Around th bend STARBURST STUMPY clipped the heels of CREPE MYRTLE and fell heavily before regaining his feet to finish a long last. A veterinary check revealed no injury. |

MAMAJA improved quickly along the rail forcing MUSTARD FUDGE outwards colliding with OPAWA FLYER and SUDDEN SAM. Around the bend LIFE WITH DEXTER clipped the heels of BILLYBOB RAY as that dog moved down towards the rail. |
