Judicial report: An inquiry was opened and adjourned into the allegation that two Handlers had trialled dogs prior to race one when the dogs were not reserves and no permission had been obtained from the Stewards.

Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C0 - C0 - 305	INTENSE ZOOM and MAN OH MAN were slow to begin and lost ground. MAN OH MAN recovered to finish in 2nd place but INTENSE ZOOM stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. KAPITAL and DUBLIN BAY jostled together running to the first corner and DUBLIN BAY lost ground and drifted back to finish in last place.
Race 2	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES C0 - C0f - 520	NIGEL THE LEGIN was very slow to begin and he stayed back throughout to finish in the rear group. RUN TESS RUN checked over the heels of THRILLING QUEST on the first turn and then ran wide on the track for the remainder of the race and finished in last place.
Race 3	GUTHRIE BOWRON C0 - C0 - 305	ELLAVA SCRAP shared the lead to the first turn but then brushed along the rail for a couple of strides and then ran out causing checks to VITA GIRL, NAKI GIRL, HOMEBUSH LITTLE and HOMEBUSH BERRY who all lost ground in the incident. ELLAVA SCRAP recovered to finish in 3rd place.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD(NZ) LTD C1 - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 5	VITA POWER C2 - C2 - 305	PINTA GUINNESS was checked from behind by CAWBOURNE TEXAS on the first corner and lost ground and he stayed well back to finish in 6th place.
Race 6	OFFICEMAX C1 - C1 - 520	RUN BROADY RUN galloped on the heels of KRUSSIAN on the home turn and they both lost momentum and dropped back to finish in 5th and 6th places.
Race 7	HARRISON HIRE MASTER C1 - C1 - 305	LITTLE RIDDLE checked over the heels of PHANTOM FOG approaching the straight entrance and he ran very wide and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 8	MICKEYS SUPER LIQUOR C1 - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 9	KEENAN CONCRETE C1D - C1d - 645	All clear.
Race 10	BILDERBECK CONSTRUCTION C1 - C1 - 305	CORPORAL JONES, SKIPPER LADY, HOMEBUSH WARRIOR and ONE WILD THING were all checked on the first corner losing several lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last four places.
Race 11	GARY ROSS DECORATOR C1 - C1 - 305	CRYSTAL BANNER and THRILLING YORK both began awkwardly and lost four lengths. DADDY LOWE jumped out and TRIPLE POUNDA jumped in and they collided and SINGLE SCULLER was also affected with all three losing some ground. CAWBOURNE BEAR angled away from the rail on the first corner and moved out hindering DADDY LOWE for a couple of strides.
