| Race 1 | Otago First 4 Sprint - C0 - 310 | TUKURUA BELLE and INIGO JONES were slow to jump with WHERE'S ROBYN slower missing the jump by three lengths. Into the bend TUKURUA BELLE was observed to ease for a stride before being tightened by WHERE'S ROBYN before drifting out to finish a clear last. A veterinary check revealed a right hock injury with a 21 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 2 | Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C0 - 545 | LOOSE GENIUS and BLUE PARVENU were slow to jump. Shortly after the jump OPAWA BLACK crossed from the outside box and checked the running of LOOSE GENIUS. On the first turn OPAWA BLACK ran wide and lost ground. |
| Race 3 | www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz Sprint - C1 - 310 | fRUBY SUNRISE, GENISTA LIGHTNIN and FANCY WAYS were slow to jump. Into the bend GENISTA LIGHTNIN collided with FANCY WAYS who struck the running heavily, with both losing all chance. On the turn SURFIN' BIZAAR crossed and struck SING CILLA BLACK who lost ground. FANCY WAYS was vetted and found free of injury. |
| Race 4 | Green Island Barber Stakes - C1 - 545 | MIGHTY PROPHET and BRUNO were slow to jump when coming up with the lids. |
| Race 5 | Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C2 - 310 | POCKETS FULL and WATERHOUSE came together after the jump and again into the bend both losing ground before POCKETS FULL drifted to finish a long last. Soon after the favourite ICE ICEAMY collided with the running rail. GLENMORE LASS struck the heels of SILENT WHISPER losing ground. Approaching the home straight SILENT WHISPER tightened SOULJAH BOY who checked outwards as a result. POCKETS FULL, ICE ICE AMY and GLENMORE LASS were vetted. POCKETS FULL was found with left gracilus bruising, and GLENMORE LASS with both dew claws torn, with a 14 day stand down for each dog. ICE ICE MY was found free of injury. |
| Race 6 | Speedprint Sprint - C1 - 310 | BOTANY TOM came up with the lids losing ground free of interference. TOWER and DAUNTING came together after the jump with DAUNTING running erratically around the bend. TOWER hit the rail twice and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury. |
| Race 7 | Herbert Family Stakes - C2 - 545 | REAL SLIM SHADY and CROSSFIRE MAX came together after the jump. Into the bend OCTANE AL and BOTANY HORNET collided when racing at the rear. |
| Race 8 | President's Sprint - C4 - 310 | Into the bend CAWBOURNE CART, MISS BRUGGE, LE FLAMBEUR and BUICK BERNIE lost all chance when coming together into the bend. |
| Race 9 | Brocklebank Dry Cleaners Sprint - C5 - 310 | MUSTARD FUDGE drifted to the rear after the jump. BOTANY ANN and CAWBOURNE LORNA were tightened by dogs on their outer soon after. Into the bend SUNSET BOMBER moved out checking both LIFE WITH DEXTER and RON'S SAINT on his outer. LIFE WITH DEXTER and MUSTARD FUDGE ran wide into the home straight. |
| Race 10 | St Kilda Tavern Stakes - C4/5 - 545 | OPAWA COLLAR and TEDDY NOVA came together after the jump. APATCHE JET, POISED and SMASH MCCOY came together in the run to the first bend. Soon after OPAWA COLLAR moved outwards colliding with APATCHE JET, POISED and SMASH MCCOY. |
| Race 11 | Keyosk Service Bar Sprint - C3 - 310 | GENISTA COMET and VAMPIRES SHADOW were slow to jump. Soon after HE'S SO FINE ran outwards colliding with ROTKARA LUCY and lost ground. Into the bend ROTKARA LUCY and COT CASE CUTIE came together losing ground. |
| Race 12 | Happy Birthday J.C. Sprint - C1 - 310 | MURPHY'S ONE ran down onto HAMPDEN JACK and OZARK'S COVER soon after leaving the boxes. HAMPDEN JACK and TEMPTING OFFER came together resulting in a trailing THRILLING PEACH striking the rail and checking OZARK'S COVER. Into the bend and improving OZARK'S COVER struck the hindquarters of HAMPDEN JACK who fell as a result before regaining his feet to finish the race. Veterinary checks on THRILLING PEACH, HAMPDEN JACK and OZARK'S COVER revealed no injury to either dog. |
