Track: Good The track was graded on Thursday and was in excellent condition. The boxes didn't open for Race 10 after having been checked and them working earlier in the day. They will be thoroughly checked again before Friday's racing.
Scales: Correct at all weights

Judicial report: Due to a tote problem on-course the programme was put back by one race after Race 3.

Race 1	$1,000 Bonus First 4s - C4/5 - 318	LIGHTS AND MUSIC was last to jump. DREAM A WIN ran inwards from his outside draw checking KERRIE'S FANTASY and NATURAL JOURNEY who both lost ground.
Race 2	Four Mates to Four Nations Stakes - C0 - 527	WHISTLING MYNX was slow to jump. LADY LAHKSMI and QUICK KNOCK came together into the first bend with LADY LAHKSMI appearing to falter soon after and come home a long last. A post race veterinary check revealed a deep graze on stopper pad and sprained toe with a twenty one day stand down recommended. ROLL UP was observed to be bleeding after the race with her post race veterinary check revealing a fractured toe with a sixty day stand down recommended.
Race 3	Thornton Auctions Sprint - C3 - 318	This race was delayed by two minutes due to an on-course tote outage. KISSIN KATE and favourite MY JACK ATTACK were tightened in the early stages. KISSIN KATE received another check soon after while MY JACK ATTACK was forced wide around the bend by BIG RIG BAZ when attempting to improve.
Race 4	Trophies Plus Dash - C2 - 318	WINSOME SKY was last to jump.
Race 5	Jack's Wholesale Meats - C1 - 318	TRIPLEM HAND was last to jump running on late for fifth. CAPTAIN RICKY received a check into the bend as SHOWTIME ADDIS crossed him from an outside draw with CAPTAIN RICKY dropping to the rear.
Race 6	NZ Racing Series Distance Final - NZRSdf - 779	MISS SNOW ANGEL was last to jump. Favourite DANGLE THE CARAT received a slight check into the first bend losing some ground but picked them up quickly on the final turn to win impressively.
Race 7	$15,000 Pick Six - C1 - 527	ROYAL AKER was last to jump. At the end of the back straight SNOW BLIND was tightened and lost ground as the winner MACHIN SHIN passed and crossed her. As SNOW BLIND dropped back through the field WINSOME JOLIE and favourite ASCENDING FORCE were both badly hampered and lost ground.and HOTWAX received a check in behind them.
Race 8	Magness Benrow Sprint - C4 - 318	All clear.
Race 9	$10,000 Quaddie Stakes - C1/2 - 527	TALEVERO and GENIUS AT WORK were slow to jump. Following the race GENIUS AT WORK was found to have a skin laceration that needed sutures with a twelve day stand down recommended.
Race 10	Terry Ryan Timber Sprint - C5 - 318	The boxes didn't open on the first occasion with all runners being taken out of the boxes and examined by the vet. All were passed fit to run and the race was hand started. PRIVATE PEDRO and TRUE INTENTIONS were tightened soon after the jump. There was no head on view available.
Race 11	Group 1 Waterloo Cup Heat 4 - C5 - 527	EMBLAZING and FIND PEDRO came together soon after the jump as ATOMIC CLAIM ran inwards from their outside. Into the first bend EMBLAZING and ATOMIC CLAIM came together for a stride and lost ground.
Race 12	Carols TABs Sprint - C1 - 318	VACCINIUM was held up the run to the bend behind ALL ABOUT LOUD and when in the clear ran wide pushing THRILLING SIMONE wider around the bend. The pacemaking CREATIVE DREAM drifted out on the bend pushing WEE PING DOLL wider and she lost some ground.
