Race 1	AWAPUNI STAKES C0 - C0 - 457	COOL ROYALE, RUN STEVIE RUN, RUN TESS RUN and MINI DEAN jostled together for a few strides on the first corner and lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the last four places.
Race 2	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS C1 - C1 - 375	All clear.
Race 3	GEON WELLINGTON C1 - C1 - 375	CRYSTAL BANNER was slow to begin losing three lengths. CRAZY BABY and BLACK IS BACK bumped together at the start and BLACK IS BACK settled near the rear.
Race 4	FOXTON SPRINT C1 - C1 - 375	PUNGAS LAD was the slowest away from box 8 but then went forward very quickly to be handy but wide on the bend. He then ran wider over extra ground into the straight and may have affected his chance of a closer placing than 3rd. LITTLE BLACKSPOT was checked on the first corner and he went out and back causing checks to ACE DRUMARD, FLASHFIRE COAL and CAWBOURNE BRIDE and they all lost ground and finished in the last four places.
Race 5	CLOVERLEA DASH C2 - C2 - 375	All clear.
Race 6	HOKOWHITU DASH C3 - C3 - 375	ROYAL MINTY drew box 3 but moved out in the run to the first corner and raced wide over extra ground on the bend and into the straight but kept up a strong run to finish in 2nd place.
Race 7	WOODVILLE DASH C1 - C1 - 375	POLLY'S PRINCESS ran in on the first corner and this resulted in checks of varying severity to TIZA FEVER, IMA ROYAL, TWENTY SIXTY and CAWBOURNE TOUCH with TIZA FEVER who was adjacent to the rail being the most affected.
Race 8	RIVERDALE SPRINT C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	All clear
Race 9	MANAWATU RACEWAY DASH C4 - C4 - 375	THRILLING CAIRO began awkwardly and settled at the rear but he received a nice clear run through on the rail to go on and win the race.
Race 10	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	FIND PEDRO drew box 1 but angled out in the run to the first corner and ran wide over extra ground on the bend and into the straight and then made up ground to finish in 5th place.
Race 11	MARTON DASH C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	CAWBOURNE BUNDY galloped on the heels of SCOTT NO FUNDING on the bend and they both lost ground and finished in 5th and 7th places.
Race 12	TURAKINA STAKES C1 - C1 - 457	TRAVEL THYME was the slowest to begin but he secured a nice clear rails run and finished well for 2nd placing.
