Race 1 Allied Work Force 0800 Labour C1 - C1 - 305 LITTLE RIDDLE drifted out on the first corner and made contact with HOMEBUSH BREE who was checked back onto FLASH TRAV and they lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 2 Wanganui Farm Supplies C2 - C2 - 305 ROTKARA MOMENTS and STILL NO TRACK collided on the bend losing ground and they finished in the last two places.
Race 3 Guthrie Bowron C1 - C1 - 520 One of the favourites SAM BAXTER was slow to begin but then recovered to make up ground for 4th place. SCOTCH AND DRY was checked on the first bend and went back and out making contact with SISTER VIRTUE with both losing ground and they finished at the rear.
Race 4 Crombie Lockwood C3 - C3 - 305 TRICKY PAULA and WANDY WANNABE were both checked on the first corner losing several lengths and they never recovered and finished at the rear. CAWBOURNE STEFFI had to check over the heels of the leader and eventual winner MISTER WHISKER in the home straight and she lost ground and just held on for 2nd place.
Race 5 NZRS - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1 MR JAZZ MAN was a little slow to begin and was the checked and ran wide into the first bend but continued a strong run to win the race. NIP TUCK led in the early and middle part of the race but ran wide on the home turn and faded to finish in 3rd place.
Race 6 NZRS - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2 BOTANY HORNET and PIN UP PUPPY bumped in the run to the first corner and lost ground and HOMEBUSH BONITA, SECRET CHLOE and QUEEN MOTHER were all pushed wide into the first bend in the incident.
Race 7 Bilderbeck Construction C5 - C5 - 305 GENISTA SKY, AMY'S A FOX and CHILD'S PLAY all ran wide over extra ground on the bend and they finished in the last three places.
Race 8 NZRS - NZRSq - 520 Heat 3 CATCH A GLIMPSE was a little slow to begin and scrambled for a couple of strides. She was then checked on the first corner and made contact with the rail and she stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. CATCH A GLIMPSE was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 9 Morrie Gibbons C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 KAZZ RAZZ checked off the heels of OPAWA GEM going into the last bend and dropped back onto BIGTIME GEM and ROCK MAGIC and they never recovered and finished at the rear. RUMOUR TISM covered extra ground on both bends and went forward to challenge for the lead in the home straight but came to the end of its run and finished in 2nd place. TATTY BOGLE checked over the heels of RUMOUR TISM on the home turn and lost some momentum but ran on for 3rd placing.
Race 10 NZRS - NZRSq - 520 Heat 4 SIXTY TWENTY was checked and forced wide losing ground on the first bend but then recovered very well to finish in 2nd place.
Race 11 Mickeys Super Liquor C5 - C5 - 305 All clear.
Race 12 Media Works C4 - C4 - 305 HUTT PARK FLYER began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance and she finished in last place. RAISINS was checked losing ground on the first corner and stayed back to finish in 6th place.
