Soon after CAWBOURNE SHOT and OSWALD BOATENG came together. The winner BULLFIGHTIN' JIMI collapsed at the lure and died shortly afterwards. An autopsy is to be conducted in accordance with Rule 84.1. |

| Race 7 | Lawrence & Lockett stakes - C2 - 520 | THRILLING BUSTA ran outwards after jumping colliding with CROSSFIRE MAX. Into the first bend IT'S NOT EASY checked out off the heels of MY BLINDSIDE. At the end of the back straight MY BLINDSIDE checked out off the heels of IT'S NOT EASY which forced CROSSFIRE MAX wider around the bend. |
| Race 8 | I pave concrete sprint - C2 - 295 | CHASIN' CROWS was slow to jump. Into the bend TEPIRITA TIKI ran outwards checking GLENMORE LASS, DROOPY'S STORM and CHASIN' CROWS. Soon after MULBERRY RECO clipped the heels of GENISTA FLAME losing ground. |
| Race 9 | yaldhurst hotel dash - C5 - 295 | Both SUNSET BOMBER and SWIFT CONQUEST were slow to jump. Around the bend an improving SUNSET BOMBER pushed out onto RUDE RODNEY who in turn collided with EXCITING KYLE, these two losing ground. |
| Race 10 | Murray@Re/Max ph 3715005 stakes - C4 - 520 | KNOW QUESTION and UNO JEWEL were tightened by MIXED GRILL into the first bend. Into the straight GENISTA ROCKET and BOTANY BARB came together losing momentum. |
| Race 11 | Sister city race on trackside at 11.05pm dash - C4 - 295 | BUICK BERNIE was slow to jump. When improving into the bend he struck the hindquarters of CAWBOURNE CART. JUST BEATRICE was tightened by WHITE RIDER coming back on GENISTA COMMANCHE. CAWBOURNE CART and GENISTA COMMANCHE were subject to a veterinary check which revealed GENISTA COMMANCHE to have left hind hip pain with a 14 day stand down recommended. CAWBOURNE CART was showing symptoms suggestive of hypoxia with a 10 day stand down recommended. |
