Track: Good The box lids opened correctly for race 12 but then bounced up and down three or four times which is not normal and while the Curator tested them several times after the race without this occurring again, he will have them thoroughly tested by the engineer before Fridays meeting.

Race 1	ALLIED WORK FORCE 0800 LABOUR C0 - C0 - 305	NAKI GIRL ran out from the start and caused tightening to several runners with DOLLY SCRAMBLE being the most affected and she lost ground but recovered to win the race. FAST PAUSE and WAIRERE MIRACLE jostled together on the first corner and WAIRERE MIRACLE dropped back and was galloped on and fell and NAKI GIRL, URUTI STORM, GROOVY BANDIT and KAPITAL were all checked in the incident and lost all chance. WAIRERE MIRACLE was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury.
Race 2	WANGANUI FARM SUPPLIES C0 - C0 - 520	COOL ROYALE, RUN TESS RUN and HOMEBUSH ZAH jostled together for a few strides in the run to the first corner and RUN TESS RUN then moved out and forced NIGEL THE LEGIN very wide into the bend. RUN TESS RUN continued to bore out and covered extra ground and finished well back. HOMEBUSH TINA also ran very wide covering extra ground on the first bend.
Race 3	GUTHRIE BOWRON C0 - C0f - 305	MISS YOU HONEY was the slowest to begin and she then ran in approaching the first turn and made contact with the rail. She was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury. MAN OH MAN and CLASSY HOLLY bumped together on the bend and both lost ground and finished at the rear.
Race 4	CROMBIE LOCKWOOD (NZ) LTD C0 - C0 - 520	All clear.
Race 5	VITA POWER C0 - C0 - 305	WALTON GRACE ran in from the start and bumped with ELLAVA SCRAP, then moved out and bumped with MINI DEAN and as a result she lost ground. WALTON GRACE then bumped with MINI DEAN on the first corner and ran a little wide into the bend.
Race 6	OFFICEMAX C1 - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 7	MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS C1 - C1 - 305	MICKEY THE RAT was jostled for several strides between SINGLE SCULLER and DAPPER in the run to the first corner and was eventually checked back to last and he never recovered and finished in that position.
Race 8	MICKEY'S SUPER LIQUOR C1 - C1 - 520	WHO'S YA DUFFER was slow to begin and lost three lengths. HI JEAN checked over the heels of HOMEBUSH BONITA on the fiirst corner and ran a little wide on the bend and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 9	BILDERBECK CONSTRUCTION C1 - C1 - 305	CRYSTAL BANNER and HOMEBUSH TEX were both slow to begin and settled at the rear. They then collided on the first corner and both lost ground with HOMEBUSH TEX being the most affected and he lost several lengths and they finished at the rear.
Race 10	KEENAN CONCRETE C0/1D - C1d - 645	WANDY KYLE began awkwardly and settled at the rear. OKAY'S DERMATOFF then moved in slightly on the first bend and WANDY KYLE and HONEY BOUND received slight checks but WANDY KYLE recovered well to finish in 2nd place while HONEY BOUND stayed back throughout the race to finish in last place.
Race 11	GARY ROSS DECORATOR C1 - C1 - 305	All clear.
Race 12	BROAD ROOFING SERVICES C1 - C1 - 305	The payment of dividends was held up for several minutes while the Stewards viewed D.V.D replays of the start. The box lids had opened normally but then bounced up and down several times but the replays clearly showed that this did not inconvenience any runner and authorisation for payment was given. CAWBOURNE BRIDE was checked back to last on the first corner and she never recovered and finished in that position.
