Judicial report: Handler K Ferris received a first and final warning for being late to the kennels for Race 5. Stewards took into account his excellent record in this regard and the fact that there was no delay as a result of his tardiness.

Race 1	Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C4 - 318	KAMACO was awkwardly away and settled last. The head on view showed that her head was turning sideways as the lure approached with the possibility that her muzzle had got caught in the grill but this was not able to be confirmed. She did well to finish on for fourth. DREAM A WIN was tightened by STARSHINE GIRL into the bend and appeared to brush the running rail with both runners losing ground. A post race veterinary check of DREAM A WIN revealed no injury.
Race 2	Thornton Auctions Stakes - C0 - 527	BUCCAN ROAD was checked by the veterinarian at the request of the trainer at the start after he appeared to be limping in the walk to the boxes. The dog was passed fit to start. SOHO PRINCE was last to jump.
Race 3	Protector Safety Sprint - C2/3 - 318	THRILLING RAY was tightened in the early stages and settled well back. He ran on well for fourth.
Race 4	Carol's TABs Sprint - C1 - 318	MAD DECISION was last to jump making ground well for third. In a tightly compacted field into the bend ELLY’S GIRL was dragged down and dropped back to last with THRILLING SNOW and PRINCESS WHALE being forced over extra ground as a result. A post race veterinary check of ELLY’S GIRL revealed no injury.
Race 5	Terry Ryan Timber Sprint - C5 - 318	COOL IDOL and LIGHTS AND MUSIC were the last to jump. Into the bend BENGINEER was badly checked as SEASWIFT crossed him with BENGINEER dropping to the rear.
Race 6	$15,000 Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527	MADDER THAN was last to jump. The pacemaker GLOW BELLE DOLL ran outwards on the final bend as MADDER THAN challenged on her outside with both dogs coming together while racing in close attendance for some strides. The stewards viewed a replay of this a number of times and ascertained that no muzzle contact had occurred. Handler Kathy Wilson advised that GLOW BELLE DOLL has had a tendency to run wide on that bend since a pin muscle injury and this was borne out by the replay. The dog was checked by the Veterinary Surgeon as a precaution and no injury found. SPARROW HAYES was badly checked on the home turn and dropped away with a post race veterinary check revealing a grazed main pad with a twenty one day stand down recommended.
Race 7	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C2 - 318	JELLYSTONE PARK was last to jump. TRIPLEM HAND was checked in between runners in the run to the bend while BIGTIME LUCKY was tightened into the bend and dropped to the rear. CYCLONE PRESTO appeared to falter just after the finish with a veterinary check finding that the dog had sustained a broken hock and was euthanized on humane grounds.
Race 8	Magness Benrow Stakes - C1/2 - 527	TALEVERO was last to jump but made ground well for a close third.
Race 9	Reel Fishin' Stakes - C3/4 - 527	TONY CAN’T GO ran inwards soon after the jump and crowded PRINCESS SHILOH and FANCY STEP for a few strides. On the first bend CORNWALL ROAD was turned sideways as he tried to get to the outside and was dragged down. He ran outwards at this time and took PRINCESS SHILOH and TONY CAN’T GO very wide with these runners losing their chances. PRINCESS SHILOH did well to run fourth with CORNWALL ROAD finishing last with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 10	The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C4/5 - 318	BOTANY SHELLEY was badly tightened into the bend and dropped to the rear.
Race 11	Deli's Sports Bar Sprint - C1 - 318	CYCLONE HOOLEY, THRILLING HONEY and TODD all came together in the early stages while UTAR NANA ran wide into the bend when leading and was dragged down by WEE PING DOLL with both dogs losing momentum. A post race veterinary check of UTAR NANA revealed no injury.
