Race 1 AWAPUNI STAKES - C0 - 457 ANOTHER SPARKY was very slow to jump finishing a long last. HOMEBUSH BAZIL drifted to the rear after jumping. Into the bend KEITHY GEE ran in tightening COOL ROYALE. Soon after BEARLY NORMAL ran outwards to collide with RUN STEVIE RUN. ANOTHER SPARKY was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss. Stewards deemed the dog's performance to be unsatisfactory and he was ordered to complete a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 81.1.
Race 2 PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOS - C1 - 375 FLASH TRAV lost all chance when very slow to jump. THRILLING YORK was tightened by KRUSSIAN into the bend losing ground. A a veterinary check THRILLING YORK wasfound to have right quadriceps injury with a 7 day stand down recommended.
Race 3 GEON WELLINGTON - C1 - 375 WHERE'S WALLY ran outwards in the run to the bend tightening HOMEBUSH JAG, LITTLE BLACKSPOT and YA GUNNA, these dogs losing all chance. Around the bend HOMEBUSH JONAH was tightened by ADDICTED TO LUV resulting in a trailing LITTLE BLACKSPOT checking out off that dog's hindquarters.
Race 4 FOXTON STAKES - C1 - 457 BOTANY MATHEW was awkwardly away from the inside box for a couple of strides then came out of the rail causing MUSTARD KEEN to check back off his heels losing a length or two at that point
Race 5 CLOVERLEA DASH - C1 - 375 ICE ICE AMY crossed both AHANE JOY and BOTANY ANGELA into the bend, these two being checked as a result.
Race 6 HOKOWHITU DASH - C1/2 - 375 All clear.
Race 7 WOODVILLE STAKES - C4/5 - 457 CLOVERLEA ROAD and THRILLING FONZ drifted to the rear after the jump. THRILLING FONZ improved into the bend checking GONE ZILLA for a stride or two. Into the straight KNOW SPIRIT checked out off the heels of ROCK MAGIC to collide with THRILLING FONZ on her outer. GONE ZILLA was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a left quadriceps injury with a 5 day stand down recommended.
Race 8 RIVERDALE DASH - C3 - 375 FLASH ENFORCER lost ground when moving outwards immediately after the jump. PADDY BOND and KNOW DESIRE were tightened into the bend. Stewards reviewed the race film in respect of the lure speed and distance at the point the lids opened in terms of Rule 75.1. They deemed that no dog was inconvenienced to affect the race outcome.
Race 9 MANAWATU RACEWAY DASH - C4 - 375 Into the bend LOOKS DECIEVING ran out from the rail colliding with MYSTERY KIM with both dogs losing ground. Soon after ROUGH ENFORCER ran out checking COVELLE.
Race 10 WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ - C4/5 - 375 THRILLING GRIT was slow to jump. Around the bend HOMEBUSH CHARLI struck the heels of MR.SIMPLY when improving along the rail, losing ground.
Race 11 MARTON SPRINT - C4/5 - 375 Into the straight CRYSTAL KATIE ran outwards colliding with KNOW NEED.
Race 12 TURAKINA STAKES - C2/3 - 457 HOMEBUSH MELL was tightened by WANDY KYLE into the bend.
