HOMEBUSH DAPHNE checked over the heels of AHANE JOY on the home turn and moved out forcing FLASH TRAV wide into the straight and they finished at the rear. |
Race 2 | Wanganui Farm Supplies - C1 - 520 | SAM BAXTER, ASK PLEASE and EZY INFO were the slowest away and were at the rear with a circuit to run but they made up ground well to finish in the first three places. |
Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron - C1/2 - 305 | HORSE POWER was very slow to begin losing several lengths and although he did make up ground, he still finished in last place. |
Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - C2/3 - 520 | KIWARA TREY and HOMEBUSH MELL were tightened between runners soon after the start and settled at the rear. KIWARA TREY then collided with the back of WANDY KYLE on the first bend and they both lost ground while HOMEBUSH MELL ran wide on the same bend and they all stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
Race 5 | Vita Power - R/A - 305 | GYM CLASS HERO who finished in last place was examined by the Vet and found to have a suspected fractured stopper bone with a 28 day stand down imposed. |
Race 6 | OfficeMax - C4/5 - 305 | BIGTIME SURVIVOR ran out from the start and collided with DARK SAGE and they settled at the rear. BIGTIME SURVIVOR then checked off the heels of JILL BAXTER on the first corner and again made contact with DARK SAGE on his outside and they lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear. |
Race 7 | Bilderbeck Construction - C4/5 - 520 | GOSS SAGE galloped on the back of OPAWA GEM in the run to the first corner and they both lost ground and went back to the rear where they stayed until the finish. |
Race 8 | Broad Roofing Services - C4/5 - 305 | REGAL OUTLAW was in 3rd place on the first corner but was checked from behind losing four lengths and he never recovered and finished in 2nd last place. |
Race 9 | Morrie Gibbons Signs - C1/2d - 645 | All clear. |
Race 10 | Keenan Concrete - C5f - 305 | GOT THE JUICE was checked on the first corner losing four lengths and he never recovered and finished last. |
Race 11 | Mickey's Super Liquor - C4 - 305 | LAW'S HILL, AWESOME VINTAGE and MYSTERY KIM were all a little slow to begin and settled near the rear and they stayed back throughout the race. |
Race 12 | Media Works - C3 - 305 | REGAL REBEL was checked on the first corner and went back onto HOMEBUSH LENNY and they never recovered and finished at the rear. |
