Judicial report: OSWALD BOATENG (AH Lee) successfully completed a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 80.1 and was given permission under Rule 68.19 to wear blinkers. LOOSE GENIUS (J&D Fahey) successfully completed a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with Rule 81.1.
RM McKenzie, the trainer of CRASH GYBE, a starter in Race 2, was charged under Rule 69.11 when the greyhound weighed in at 34.2kg which was 1.8kg over his last race start weight of 32.4kg on 20th August and less than 28 days from his last race start. Ms McKenzie pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $100 under the GRNZ Minor Infringement System penalties.
MJ Flipp, the trainer of LANA CEE, made application under Rule 80.7 to have the endorsement under Rule 80.1.a cancelled after the greyhound had completed ten (10) clear races. The application was approved, the endorsement cancelled, and the registration papers noted accordingly.

Race 1	Barron's Supplies Ph 3859438 Stakes - C0 - 520	ICED UP and OHOKA SUE were slow to jump. Into the first turn OHOKA SUE checked off the rear of ICED UP with NGAHERE also checked and going wide.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa All Up Sprint - C0 - 295	GENISTA LIGHTNIN, CRASH GYBE and RANGITOTO ROHI were slow to jump. In the run to the turn RANGITOTO ROHI crossed and checked the running of UNCLE EARL and POWERFAST PIPPA with POWERFAST PIPPA running out and forcing UNCLE EARL wider on the track. Into the turn when near the lead FOREIGN GOING was clipped in the rear by an improving INIGO JONES and went back losing all chance. FOREIGN GOING was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 3	Active Electrical Christchurch Ltd Stakes - C0 - 520	From the jump SERAPHINE JEWEL ran sharply inwards and checked the running of OH EMM EYE. Into the first turn OH EMM EYE checked off the rear of FERAL DUCHESS and moved outwards severely checking and forcing out wide MEDIVAC, POOR MARIA and OHOKA DILLON with these four dogs losing all chances.
Race 4	Yaldhurst Hotel Dash - C1 - 295	CHASIN' CROWS was slow to jump. From the jump BETTY BEEP ran inwards and checked MULBERRY MADAM. Into the turn CHASIN' CROWS crossed and came together with BETTY BEEP with a resulting check to the running of MULBERRY MADAM and NEED A NURSE.
Race 5	Super Pets Stakes - C1 - 520	TIGER BALM and LIFE'S GREAT were slow to jump. On the first turn HI JEAN checked off the rear of OHOKA ZOE and moved out forcing FRITO BANDITO wide.
Race 6	Amber Cleaning Services Maiden Sprint Final - C0f - 295	Into the turn AMAC CROOK pushed out and checked GROUP ONE BEST with MIGHTY PANTHERS forced wide.
Race 7	www.containersdirect.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520	UNDER COVER and MISS SNOW ANGEL were slow to jump.
Race 8	Shirley Veterinary Centre Sprint - C1 - 295	SPIN A TITLE was very slow to jump and lost all chance. Into the turn COOL GALAXY checked out off the rear of BULLFIGHTIN' JIMI and ran wide on the turn.
Race 9	The Miller Bar & Cafe Dash - C1 - 295	In the run to the turn GENISTA COMET was tightened and moved outwards striking COOL JORDIE who fell heavily. CURRAHEE was also checked during the incident. COOL JORDIE regained her feet to finish the race a distant last, and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury sustained in the fall.
Race 10	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1 - 520	Into the turn the field came together with TIME CATCHER, TOKEN RAGE, MULBERRY ROSE and LYNDOUR GEM all tightened and losing ground.
Race 11	Addington Events Centre Stakes - C2 - 520	CROSSFIRE MAX was slow to jump and then ran out and collided with GENISTA DIAMOND with both dogs losing ground.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C1 - 295	Into the turn TOWER checked off the rear of HEAVEN HAND and then went back and collided with WEE RAZZ with both dogs losing ground to finish at the rear.
