Judicial report: Mr BC Dann, the trainer of BIGTIME SLAMMER, a starter in Race 12, was charged under Rule 64.1 with failing to notify the secretary of the club of the scratching of the greyhound by 7.30am on race day. BIGTIME SLAMMER was scratched at the meeting of the Southland GRC on 14th September and was required to present a veterinary certificate within 48 hours. Mr Dann did take the greyhound to the vet on the morning of 16th September but failed to withdraw the greyhound from its commitment in Race 12 at Christchurch. Mr Dann pleaded guilty to the charge and under the GRNZ minor infringement system a penalty of $150.

Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C3 - 295	LIAM TITLE and KNOW DESIRE were slow to jump and then KNOW DESIRE lost ground when checking off the rear of LIAM TITLE into the turn.
Race 4	Swift Fantasy Here Next Thursday Dash - C5 - 295	Into the turn KNOW LOVE checked off the rear of OCTANE SPARK and lost momentum.
Race 5	Challenge Opawa Punters Challenge Stakes - C3 - 520	Into the first turn CAWBOURNE BOLT collided with CALM WAVES who was forced sideways and lost all chance to finish at the rear. Into the back straight when vying for the lead FANCY DIVER and UNO JEWEL came together with UNO JEWEL checked and losing ground.
Race 6	aaroncoullhearttransplant.co.nz Dash - C4 - 295	In the run to the turn GENERAL VIEW pushed outwards and checked TEE CEE who went back and checked the running of LE FLAMBEUR and SINGAPORE WILLY.
Race 7	Kingston Cup Next Thursday Stakes - C4/5 - 520	Into the first turn WINSOME BUCKS moved out and forced OPAWA COLLAR into the path of OH OTIS with both dogs losing ground.
Race 8	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C5 - 295	All clear.
Race 9	Sister City Cup Christchurch Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 1	AWESOME BENDER was slowest to jump and then tightened by TEDDY NOVA in the run to the first turn. At the end of the back straight SMASH MCCOY checked off the rear of MAMAJA.
Race 10	Greyhounds As Pets Stakes - C4 - 520	LILETTE BALE and KNOW QUESTION were slow to jump. In the run to the first turn LILETTE BALE ran out and severely checked the running of KNOW QUESTION. On the turn BILLYBOB RAY checked off the rear of the leader TEDDY MARCELLO and forced RED VENOM into the path of BEMJI LAFOURCHE with these two dogs going wide on the track and losing all chances.
Race 11	Back Here Tomorrow Sprint - C5 - 295	From the jump RON'S SAINT ran sharply inwards and checked the running of BUSINESS TIME.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C3 - 295	From the jump OLD MATE DAVE ran sharply inwards and checked the running of REGGAE BOND.
