Judicial report: Stewards concluded there investigation into the late scratching of "Whistling Minx at the Waikato GRC meeting on the 9th September 2010.
As a result of this investigation a charge under Rule 64.2 was laid against Trainers R&M&J Smith with Mr.J.Smith admitting this charge that the training partnership had failed to produce "Whistling Minx" to race at the Waikato GRC meeting on the 9th September 2010. Mr.J.Smith signed the information admitting the breach of Rule 64.2 and also that he did not wish to be present at the hearing of this information. A fine of $150.00 was recommended in this instance . Mr.J.Smith for the training partnership submitted a letter of explanation as to the curcumstances which led to the late scratching of "Whistling Minx ", and stewards accepted this explanation and under the provisions of Rule 64.5 waived the 28 day suspension on "Whisling Minx".
Trainer Mr.B.D.F. Craik was charged with a breach of Rule 71.4 in that he failed to arange a catcher for "Triple Tee at the conclusion of race 11. Mr Craik signed the information that he admitted the Breach of Rule 71.4 and also that he did not wish to attend the hearing of this information. A fine of $50.00 was recommended in this instance.

Race 1	Trophies Plus Sprint - C0 - 318	PIPI SMASHER was the slowest to begin. After the start WEE PING DOLL ran inwards contacting SO DEEP for a stride. Into the first turn QUICK KNOCK was observed to contact the heels of ALLBLACK ENFORCE, following this check QUICK KNOCK ran out, was turned sideways and contacted BUCCAN ROAD forcing this runner wide on the track and also checking this runner. A post race Vet Check of QUICK KNOCK revealed Left Fore Metacarple Pain.A post Race Vet Check of ALLBLACK ENFORCE revealed no abnormalities.
Race 2	Ashford Boarding Kennels & Cattery Sprint - C3 - 318	WINSOME SKY was very slow to begin and was observed to go up with the lids at the jump. After the start CARMIA MATANNA and AS FAST AS came together and were checked when CARMAI MATANNA attempted to go down to the rail and ASFAST AS attemped to run out. Into the first turn CARMAI MATANNA ran out between ROTOVEGAS GIRL and WINSOME ACHIEVER and was checked in this incident. WINSOME SKY checked off the heels of AS FAST AS around the home bend.
Race 3	Reel Fishin' Stakes - C0 - 527	ROYAL AKER was the slowest to begin. Into the first turn OLLIE FONZ came off heels and ran wide on the track. As the field raced into the back straight JUBILEE LINE and DECADENT came together for a stride.
Race 4	NZRS Sprint Series Heat 1 - NZRSq - 318 Heat 1	SCOTT NO FUNDING was the slowest to begin. Into the first turn MOTHERLEE contaced the heels of MATANUSHKA , checked back and then went down on her nose SHE ROCKS then ran into MOTHERLEE checking this runner once more MOTHERLEE then came off SHE ROCKS and contacted GOLD FOR THYS these four runners being checked in this incident. A post race Vet Check of MOTHERLEE revealed and injury requiring a ten day stand down from racing.
Race 5	Carol's TABs Stakes - C5 - 527	ENMBLAZING and MINT OCTANE were the slowest to begin. After the start ATOMIC CLAIM an inwards and contacted FALKIRK FANTASY forcing this runner onto BUT WHY NOT these three runners were slightly checked in this incident. EMBLAZING checked off the heels of OSTI'S RUBY after the start.
Race 6	Magness Benrow Sprint - C1 - 318	After the start ELLY'S GIRL and WRAITH came together for a stride. Into the first turn PURE DESIRE checked off the heels of STATE OF PARDON. PYFO WILLIE and SHOWTIME ADDIS raced wide around the first turn.
Race 7	$15,000 Pick6 Stakes - C1 - 527	In the run to the first turn VIBURNUM and BEATRIX KIDDO were observed to be jostling for positions and were both checked. Into the home bend NAT'S MELODY was observed to check off te heels of GLOW BELLE DOLL.
Race 8	The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C4 - 318	LOONEY LEE and POSTMAN JIM were the slowest to begin. ART DECO and PUNK SCOOTER came together after the start. WINSOME RITE checked off the heels of TO THE CREST into the first turn.
Race 9	$10,000 Quaddie Sprint - C5 - 318	TRUE INTENTIONS was the slowest to begin. Into the first turn TERRY STANLEY checked off the heels of FORTIS JOURNEY.
Race 10	NZRS Sprint Series Heat 2 - NZRSq - 318 Heat 2	Slow to begin were THRILLING WAG and COOL IDOL ELLABILLIE ANGEL and COOL IDOL came together after the start and were checked for a stride. BOTANY SHELLEY was observed to check off the heels of THRILLING WAG around the home bend and run very wide in the home straight.
Race 11	Sister City Invitational Stakes Heat - C5 - 527	THRILLING SHOT forced HARAJUKA BOY out wider on the track into the first turn. RASMAH was observed to check off the heels of EXCELLENT BEC down the back straight RASMAH dropped back a length after this check.
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C2 - 318	HOMEBUSH WIGGLE and WHAT'S SHE PAYNE were observed to be jostling for positions in the run to the first turn. CORNWALL ROAD was observed to check off the heels of THRILLING LEE in the run to the first turn.
