Track: Heavy The track was wet and slushy after recent heavy rain and the Curators were unable to use machinery for grooming but the track was safe for racing.

Race 1	Awapuni Stakes - C0 - 457	Due to a power failure 20 minutes before the scheduled start time for race one, the meeting was put back by one race for the entire programme. The race was all clear.
Race 2	Peter Sinclair Photos - C0 - 375	MICKEY THE RAT angled out as KRUSSIAN was moving in on the first corner and they collided with MICKEY THE RAT going back onto ANNIE ELIZABETH and they both lost several lengths and all chance.
Race 3	GEON Wellington - C1 - 375	RURAL LADY galloped on the heels of CAWBOURNE DARCY on the bend and lost four lengths and she never recovered and finished in 3rd last place.
Race 4	Foxton Stakes - C1 - 457	EZY INFO ran in from the start and checked over the heels of JUST PEDANTIC and lost some ground. CATCH A GLIMPSE, TIZA FEVER and SAM BAXTER were slow to begin losing three lengths. CATCH A GLIMPSE recovered best of the three to finish in 3rd place but she suffered a webbing injury and was stood down for 14 days.
Race 5	Cloverlea Dash - C1 - 375	ACE DRUMARD was handy to the first corner but was checked twice on the bend and dropped out to finish in last place.
Race 6	Hokowhitu Dash - C2 - 375	FLASH TRAV was checked on the bend and lost a couple of lengths.
Race 7	Woodville Dash - C3 - 375	All clear.
Race 8	Riverdale Sprint - C5 - 457	All clear.
Race 9	Manawatu Raceway Dash - C3/4 - 375	ANOTHER NICK began awkwardly losing ground but recovered to finish well for 3rd place. THRILLING LLOYD checked over the heels of CLAN DOUGLAS on the home turn and moved out forcing LOOKS DECIEVING wide and all three dogs lost ground and finished well back.
Race 10	www.racingdogs.co.nz - C5 - 375	ADDIS JAY and KNOW NEED were slow to begin losing a couple of lengths and BENGINEER was checked soon after and also lost ground. KNOW NEED recovered best of the three to finish well for 3rd place with the other two well back.
Race 11	NZRS Final - NZRSf - 457	WINSOME OPAWA and MAMAJA were both a little slow to begin but they recovered well and secured clear runs on the rail to finish in 1st and 2nd places.
Race 12	Marton Stakes - C2/3 - 457	THRILLING CAIRO and THRILLING CHILL were both a little slow to begin but then made up ground to finish in 3rd and 5th places.
