Track: Dead The track surface was soft resulting in the Curator keeping all machinery off the track surface throughout the meeting. A number of good race times were recorded.
Scales: Correct at 25kgs
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: BC DANN was charged with a breach of Rule 69.11 as a result of PALOMINE, a starter in Race 2, weighing in at 27.7kgs, 1.8kgs under his last race start weight at Addington on 06 August 2010. He admitted the breach and was fined $100.00.
This was a meeting where only the overhead camera in the Main Stand was available for Stewards with no head on film available to them due to Trackside equipment commitments elsewhere.

Race 1 Barron's Supplies Ph.3859438 Sprint - C4 - 295 Into the bend TUNZA REVS was squeezed between dogs coming back on TEE CEE and LE FLAMBEUR. Soon after SINGAPORE WILLY collided with BIGTIME FORCE both losing ground.
Race 2 Challenge Opawa All Up Dash - C2 - 295 WINSOME FLYER was slow to jump. Into the bend PALOMINE and MRS.PATCH were tightened and checked by dogs on their outer.
Race 3 Happy Birthday Marcie Flipp Dash - C5 - 295 SAFE AND SECURE was a stride slow in jumping from the inside box. Into the bend LIAM BALE clipped the heels of WATTLE YOU BEE losing ground before WATTLE YOU BEE and HOMEBUSH REECE collided. The winner HALF AS MATE cramped up at the lure and fell to the ground before being assisted from the track. The dog was free of the cramping upon his return to the kennel block. A veterinary examination was conducted after the dog had cooled down and no injury was noted. Stewards requested Trainer MJ FLIPP present HALF AS MATE to the Club veterinarian's practice next week for a full range of tests including blood tests to be undertaken, and confirmed that a veterinary clearance from the Club Veterinarian was required before the dog raced again in accordance with Rule 82.8.
Race 4 David Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C2 - 520 CROSSFIRE MAX ran wide in the back straight taking FIRESIDE BLAZE with him. The winner AKON STAR fell at the lure and sustained a wound to the right shoulder which nessecitated sutures. A 7 day stand down was recommended.
Race 5 Canteen-Supporting Young Kiwis Living With Cancer Dash - C2 - 295 TUKURUA ZAC was very slow to jump with HO HO PAREORA missing the jump by a length. Into the bend AKAISHA BALE moved down towards the rail tightening CAWBOURNE HAPPY who came back on MULBERRY NIPPER and TUKURUA ZAC. MULBERRY NIPPER and KNOW SOON came together for a few strides soon after.
Race 6 Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C3 - 295 WHITE PHOSPHORUS was slow to jump. CAWBOURNE MOLLY was tightened by LES HART soon after the start. Into the bend GUNNADOO DREAMS was tightened by LES HART.
Race 7 Oakley's Plumbing Supplies Sprint - C5 - 295 Into the bend MIAMI clipped the heels of PAREORA DOLL losing ground. Soon after PAREORA DOLL checked out off BLAST FURNACE. Approaching the home turn an improving MIAMI hit the heels of KATIE MAC and fell before regaining his feet to finish the race. A veterinary check revealed no injury.
Race 8 Shirley Veterinary Centre Stakes - C2/3 - 520 GENISTA FLAME checked off the heels of GENISTA DIAMOND across the top when racing at the rear.
Race 9 Robbie's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C3 - 295 JEALOUS GLANCE and FAST TEDDY came together after the jump. Into the bend DAIMLER DAVE and KNOW DESIRE came together for a few strides.
Race 10 www.aaroncoullhearttransplant.co.nz Stakes - C5 - 520 SHAKEY BAKE and CHILE TART came together after the jump. ELIE SAAB was tightened between dogs into the first bend. ELIE SAAB was vetted post race and found with left hind outside sesamoid pain with a 10 day stand down recommended. DEAL FOR YOU was found to have a torn left hind web with a 14 day stand down recommended.
Race 11 Katz 'n K9z Sprint - C5 - 295 CAWBOURNE LORNA and CARNABY collided turning for home.
Race 12 Speights Sprint - C4 - 295 ELITE BAXTER, GET OUT THERE and REDLINE CHAOS were tightened soon after the start with ELITE BAXTER stumbling for a stride or two.
