JACK'S SHIRAZ tightened BANNED NO LONGER when improving at the end of the back straight who then drifted out to finish a clear last. A veterinary check revealed left hip support and right hock pain on full flexion with a 20 day stand down recommended. |

Soon after JEST TEASING and RISING MERCURY came together when racing at the rear. In the home straight JUST TEASING checked out off the heels of GOT THE BEETROOT colliding with BELFAST CHUKKA. |

Across the top an improving ALCATRAZ BOY tightened DUDLEY RAMA who drifted out to finish near the rear. |

CAWBOURNE DRAG checked out off the heels of INIGO JONES into the home straight running wide as a result. BEAT THE FOURCHE was vetted after the event and found to have a re occurrence of an old injury to the left hind sesamoid joint with a 14 day stand down recommended. |

WATERHOUSE and GENIUS AT WORK collided around the first bend when vying for the lead. Soon after KNOW TEARS was tightened by MEECES TO PIECES near the rail. Around the top bend an improving KNOW TEARS collided with WATERHOUSE before drifting out into the home straight to collide with OKUKU STAR. |

HAYLEY'S WISH improved quickly before striking the heels of KAIAPOI JADE and losing ground. Into the bend KAIAPOI JADE moved out off the heels of HOMEBUSH ACE forcing BRUNO and HOMEBUSH KALAMA over extra ground. |

Soon after NINA'S GIRL ran out taking HI JEAN wide. |
