Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Trainer RA McPhee was fined $100.00 after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when ELLABILLE ANGEL weighed in at 29.7 kgs which was 1.8 kgs over her last race weight on 12 August 2010. Handler D Schofield as person in charge of dogs was fined $150.00 after he admitted 3 breaches of Rule 71.4 when none of the Schofield runners had catchers arranged after Race 8.

Race 1	Trophies Plus Sprint - C2 - 318	HE'S A LION ran outwards on to KARATA ROAD for a stride soon after the jump. Into the bend FLIRTINI ran outwards tightening HE'S A LION and KARATA ROAD while in behind them THRILLING MISS and THRILLING CAM came together for some distance with WHAT'S SHE PAYNE also receving a check at this stage.
Race 2	Interislander Stakes - C0 - 527	JUBILEE LINE ran outwards soon after the jump as she came together with SURFER FOOT with both of these runners losing ground. DECADENT ran off the rail into the first bend on to SPECIAL PROJECT who in turn caused BINGO STARR and BRONZE FOR MACOS to be badly checked wider out. JUBILEE LINE who in behind these runners had to take evasive action and lost many lengths at this stage. Shortly after this JUBILEE LINE and BINGO STARR again came together when well back.
Race 3	Magness Benrow Stakes - C4 - 527	DAME DIMANTE checked outwards off the back of the pacemaking WINSOME JAMES with ATOMIC CLAIM and FIND PEDRO being checked as a result and losing ground. DAME DIMANTE was tightened on the home bend and lost ground with ATOMIC CLAIM receiving another check at this stage.
Race 4	Deli's Sports Bar Sprint - C3 - 318	WINSOME SKY was last to jump. DREAM A WIN received some tightening in the run down the back straight.
Race 5	Jack's Wholesale Meats Stakes - C1 - 527	ZERO RANGER was last to jump and remained there throughout. JOHN DEED and MADDER THAN came together for a stride soon after the jump.
Race 6	The Brownzy Sports Bar Stakes - C2/3 - 527	TALEVERO was last to jump and remained well back throughout.
Race 7	Terry Ryan Timber Sprint - C5 - 318	BOLSTAD was badly dragged down into the bend with NATURAL JOURNEY and NATIONAL DEBT also being checked out of the race at this point. A post race veterinary check of BOLSTAD revealed a cut pad with a seven day stand down recommended.
Race 8	Reel Fishin' Stakes - C5 - 527	EMBLAZING and THRILLING SHOT were slow to jump. WIZARD APPEAL ran inwards soon after the jump and came together with BUT WHY NOT for a stride.
Race 9	Thornton Auctions Sprint - C4 - 318	FANCY SPIDER was last to jump.
Race 10	Auckland Co-op Taxis Sprint - C5 - 318	MATANUSKA ran inwards soon after the jump contacting WINSOME FREDDY and into the turn ran outwards checking CAPTAIN CARLOS who lost some ground.
Race 11	Carol's TABs Sprint - C1 - 318	WRAITH was badly checked into the bend and dropped to the rear. On the home turn HOTWAX ran wide in order to obtain racing room and came together with CYCLONE HOOLEY with both dogs losing momentum. A post race veterinary check of CYCLONE HOOLEY revealed no injury.
