| Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305 | ARTIE'S SISTER ran in from the start and checked KAPITAL and FLICK ATTACK who both settled near the rear. ARTIE'S SISTER again ran in on the first corner and made firm contact with the rail losing four lengths and all chance of a placing. She was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. FLICK ATTACK clipped a heel of KAPITAL on the first corner and fell and she was also examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. |
| Race 2 | Wanganui Farm Supplies - C0 - 520 | The box lids opened prior to the lure arriving at the boxes and the field ran over a circuit of the track before pulling up. As a result the race was abandoned . The problem was found to be with the catches on the box lids which failed to hold and adjustments were made before the next 520 metre race. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron - C0 - 305 | BOND ECLIPSE was slow to begin losing four lengths and she then angled in running to the first corner and made fiirm contact with the rail and she stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with a wrist injury. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood Final - C0f - 305 | THRILLING PIPPI checked over the heels of GET A PERM on the bend and she ran very wide over extra ground entering the straight and finished in last place. |
| Race 5 | Vita Power - C1 - 305 | CRYSTAL SAL moved in on the first corner and this resulted in checks to FREE COPY and HOMEBUSH JAG who both lost three lengths. CAWBOURNE BEAR angled in on the home turn and made contact with POLLY'S PRINCESS with both losing momentum and POLLY'S PRINCESS was the most affected and she dropped back to finish in last place. |
| Race 6 | Office Max - C1 - 305 | LEFT JAB was handy early in the race but was bumped by PINTA GUINNESS on the first corner and soon after was observed to ease and she then ran wide on the bend and finished several lengths last. LEFT JAB was examined by the vet and stood down for 21 days with a wrist injury and is required to complete a satisfactory trial. The Trainers representative indicated that LEFT JAB would now be retired. |
| Race 7 | Morrie Gibbons Signs - C1 - 520 | One of the favourites EZY INFO was held up for several strides on the final bend when racing inside ELLA'S ANGEL and she eventually checked losing three lengths and finished in 5th place. |

| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete - C1 - 520 | KIWARA TREY and THRILLING DEVIL were slow to begin and settled well back but made up ground to finish in 3rd and 4th places. THRILLING DEVIL was examined by the Vet and stood down for 21 days with a serious webbing injury. |
| Race 11 | Broad Roofing Supplies - C1 - 305 | VIOLET JAZZ was handy racing into the bend but was checked and dropped back onto HOMEBUSH DAPHNE who was in turn galloped over by UNDER ORDERS and HAGLER and as a result UNDER ORDERS, HOMEBUSH DAPHNE and HAGLER all fell and they were all examined by the Vet. UNDER ORDERS was found to have suffered shoulder and leg fractures and was euthanased. HAGLER suffered from bruising and abrasions and was stood down for 10 days and HOMEBUSH DAPHNE was cleared of injury. |
| Race 12 | Media Works - C1 - 305 | KOP ROAR was checked and lost ground on the first corner and soon after IN TENT and CAWBOURNE ANN who had been racing up near the lead were checked losing several lengths but they recovered to finish in 3rd and 4th places. |
