| Race 1 | Barron's Supplies Ph.3859438 Sprint - C5 - 295 | Shortly after the jump the favourite CAWBOURNE LISA checked off the rear of LES BAXTER and stumbled. Shortly afterwards KATIE MAC moved outwards and checked the running of REWIND HISTORY who went back and struck the trailing CAWBOURNE LISA. There was a resulting check to HOMEBUSH REECE who moved outwards and forced MARLENE'S BABE and KNOW LOVE wide on the track. CAWBOURNE LISA finished a distant last and was subject to a veterinary check which showed the dog to have an injury to the right hind tarsometatarsal with a 21 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 2 | www.christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Dash - C2 - 295 | NEED A NURSE was very slow to jump. From the jump KNOW PROOF ran inwards and checked ACHEW ACHEW who then ran outwards and struck the rear of BETTY BEATZER with a resulting check to NEED A NURSE. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C3 - 295 | At the jump KNOW SPORTY stumbled and lost ground. Into the turn GET OUT THERE moved outwards and checked the running of GENISTA FLAME who went back and then struck OUR BEOWULF who was severely checked but recovered in the straight to run on for third. In the run to the turn CLEEVE HILL checked off the rear of MEANDER and then on the turn was struck by MEANDER and lost all chance to finish at the rear. After the race OUR BEOWULF and CLEEVE HILL were subject to veterinary checks with nothing amiss with OUR BEOWULF. CLEEVE HILL was found to have torn ligaments in the right hock with a 28 day stand down recommended. |

| Race 6 | Speight's Sprint - C3 - 295 | Race start time put back 3 minutes at request of Raceday Control. In the run to the turn PENIE'S FROM moved outwards ahd checked the running of NATALIA BALE and then into the home straight came into contact with KNOW HELP with both dogs losing ground. FLAT BATTERY fell heavily at the lure and was subject to a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss. |
| Race 7 | I Pave Concrete Sprint - C4 - 295 | In the run to the turn ALBIE'S STAR crossed over and checked the running of SINGAPORE WILLY. |
| Race 8 | Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C4 - 520 | KNOW QUESTION was slow to jump. Into the back straight SPEED TICKET clipped the rear of SMASH MCCOY and fell heavily going back on top of QUETEE JEWEL who also fell heavily. During the incident KNOW QUESTION and EXCEL LIKE SPEED were checked and ran out wide. Both SPEED TICKET and QUETEE JEWEL regained their feet to finish the race a long way back and were subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury to QUETEE JEWEL but SPEED TICKET had pain in the hock area with a 14 day stand down recommended. |
