Judicial report: The hearing adjourned from Palmerston North on Monday 16th August was again adjourned due to Ms S.Nissen being unavailable due to a family members illness.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305	MOANA BLUE was a little slow to begin and settled back in the field. She then had to check on the first corner as FAWN ALLEGRO moved across to the rail and she lost three lengths and stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 2	Wanganui Farm Supplies - C0q - 520 Heat 1	DARK TURBO who was having its first start from the Freeman / Turnwald kennel, was 4.6 kilograms down on its last start weight and this was by design and the dog was passed fit to race by the Veterinary Surgeon. DARK TURBO was checked soon after the start and went back to the rear and he stayed there throughout the race. THRILLING DAVIS and BRONZE FOR MACOS jostled together for several strides in the run to the first corner and eventually THRILLING DAVIS checked losing four lengths and he never recovered and finished in 7th place.
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1 - 305	CRYSTAL BANNER was slow to begin losing a couple of lengths. She then went forward and galloped on the back of TUI CAN DO on the first corner and this resulted in TUI CAN DO losing ground and he finished in last place.
Race 4	Media Works - C0q - 520 Heat 2	NAT'S MELODY and GENTLE ATTACK ran in from the start and checked COOL ROYALE who went back and out causing checks to COOL THIEF and THRILLING MAVIS and all three dogs lost several lengths and they finished in the rear group.
Race 5	Harrison Hire Master, Wanganui - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE ANN moved in racing to the first corner and jostled with TRIPLE POUNDA and TRIPLE POUNDA eventually clipped a heel and fell on the first corner. She was examined by the Vet and cleared of injury. LAURIE'S BEST and CAWBOURNE ANN jostled together for several strides on the bend and they lost ground and finished in the rear group.
Race 6	Morrie Gibbons Signs - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 7	Bilderbeck Construction - C1/2 - 305	WHAT WAYS HOME was handy in the run to the first corner but then clipped the heels of JONES BAXTER and lost three lengths. PUNGAS LAD was in behind the leader on the home turn but had to check over the heels of BACK AT YA and lost a little ground and finished in 4th place.
Race 8	OfficeMax - C1 - 520	HOT FONZ and CUTIE TWO collided and lost ground soon after the start and they settled near the rear. The favourite SEMENYA led until rounding the final bend where she was checked from behind and began to drift back. She was again jostled and checked on the home turn and drifted back to finish in last place. SEMENYA was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Broad Roofing Services, Wanganui - C1/2 - 305	HE'S A LION ran in from the start and forced OPAWA MISSY in onto CAWBOURNE MO who was checked and settled at the rear. ROTKARA MOMENTS was checked on the first corner and she went back onto CAWBOURNE MO and ADDICTED TO LOVE who both lost ground.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete, Wanganui - C1/2 - 520	MIRAGE ROYALE was held up for several strides on the final bend when unable to clear HOMEBUSH BONITA who was just ahead. When clear, MIRAGE ROYALE finished on for 5th placing.
Race 11	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH JAG, ALAMEIN FATS and HEALING CRYSTAL were checked on the first corner losing several lengths. HOMEBUSH JAG made up ground to finish in 4th place but the other two finished at the rear. The Stewards requested to view the head on home straight video as they were concerned with some aspects of the final stages of the race. However the head on video camera was not in use and so the film was not available.
Race 12	www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1 - 305	HAGLER was slow to begin and lost three lengths. HOMEBUSH DAPHNE was checked on the first corner and lost three lengths but did make up some ground for 5th place.
