| Race 1 | Added Energy Welcome - C0 - 390 | THRILLING ROBYN was slow to jump. In the run to the turn BLUE RAGE was tightened and went back on TUKURUA BELLE who was checked back to the rear. GOTTA BE CASH turned in the starting boxes, then jumped a long way after the field. On the first turn GOTTA BE CASH jumped the running rail, fell heavily, ran across the inside of the track and fell again when jumping the rail and failed to finish the race. A veterinary check revealed the dog to have an open fracture and dislocated left fore carpus and euthanasia was recommended on welfare grounds. |
| Race 2 | www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C0 - 457 | The race start time was delayed 3 minutes to allow the lure arm to be replaced. At the pull up for race 1 the lure arm was damaged as the dogs struck it. The race running was all clear. |
| Race 3 | Brendon Burke@Southernwide - C1 - 390 | CAWBOURNE TINA went up with the starting box lids and then jumped and landed awkwardly to lose all chances and finish at the rear. A post race veterinary check revealed nothing amiss. |
| Race 4 | Southland & Otago Photo Finish - C2 - 390 | From the jump SWIP TASTIC ran in and checked the running of ACHEW ACHEW and CAWBOURNE BULLET then into the turn crossed to the rail and checked OHOKA DUKE. |
| Race 5 | $25 Yard Muzzle Stakes - C1 - 390 | At the jump CAWBOURNE NORMA ducked inwards and severely checked WILLY ECHO who lost ground and never recovered to finish at the rear. |
| Race 6 | SGRC Bounce B Powder - C2 - 457 | Into the turn DUDLEY RAMA pushed out and forced FULL ON BOWIE outwards. FULL ON BOWIE struck the rear of SWEET APPEAL who stumbled and lost all chance to finish at the rear behind FULL ON BOWIE who also lost all chance in the race. A post race veterinary check of SWEET APPEAL revealed lameness to the left hind leg with pain in the thigh muscles with a 14 day stand down recommended. |

| Race 8 | Ascot Park Hotel - C3 - 390 | FANTASY BAXTER was checked in the run to the turn when MEANDER crossed and then faltered into the turn and limped home a distant last. A post race veterinary check revealed FANTASY BAXTER to have an open wound and fracture on the right hock and euthanasia was recommended on welfare grounds. |
