Race 1 | Allied Work Force 0800 Labour :Feature - C1 - 305 | In the run down to the first turn DEL TONES came out off the rail on to THRILLING IRIS, CAWBOURNE ANN, and THRILLING GABBY resulting in THRILLING IRIS being squeezed back towards the rear where she ran on well for 4th position at the line. .TONY;S PEDRO raced wide across the top bend and into the home straight which cost him any chance of figuiring in the didvedend bearing placings the same as he did at his last start was vetted and was found to be suffering from neck pain with a 14 day stand down recommended |
Race 2 | Wanganui Farm Supplies - C1 - 520 | In the run down to the first turn COOL TRACEY came across fast on to TWENTY SIXTY and MR JAZZ MAN tightning them for a few strides . COOL TRACEY was racing in a handy position as they raced on to the top bend and was observed to go back through the field to finish in last position at the line and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1 - 305 | CAWBOURNE WILKO was last out of the boxes by several lengths and never got in to proceedings throughout the race finishing some distance back at the rear and was sent for a vet check.was found to have suffered an injury requiring a 21 day stand down LAURIE;S BEST and TUI CAN DO went out wide racing across the top bend and wide in to the home straight and lost a lot of ground in the running due to this |
Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood(NZ) Ltd - C1/2 - 305 | In the run down to the first turn CATCH A PUNTER came down across on to AHANE JOY pushing him in on to the heels of BERELLA CHELSEA whick caused AHANE JOY to miiss a stride resulting in ADDICTED TO LOVE running up on the back of him and dragging him down on his haunches , AHANE JOY recovered his footing and carried on ,but his chances of a good finish were extinguished in this incident he was vetted and was found to be suffering from an injury requiring a 7 day stand down |
Race 5 | Vita Power - C1/2 - 305 | SCISSOR SISTERS was awkwardly away from the boxes and took a couple of strides to regain her balance but was not able to get in to contention there after |
Race 6 | OfficeMax - C1/2 - 520 | As the dogs jumep away from the boxes THRILLING CAIRO ran out as OUR PLAYBOY came in and they collided ,then THRILLING CAIRO went in towards the rail and made contact with PURE FURY ,a couple of strides on SURFER CHICK ran in looking for the rail and pushed THRILLING CAIRO inwards and he struck the rail at that point, but he still ran on for 4th placing at the line and was sent for a vet check. where no abnormalities were found JACK BANNER was up handy in the running until they went down the back straight he was observed to go back through the field towards the rear and missed his stride for a few metres and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
Race 7 | Bilderbeck Construction - C3 - 305 | As the field raced in to the first turn FLASH ENFORCER got on the heels of RAISINS and went back on to MOLLY DARLING resulting in FLASH ENFORCER and MOLLY DARLING going back through the field to the rear where they could not get back in to contention from there on in. |
Race 8 | Mickeys Super Liquor - C3 - 520 | As the field raced in to the turn first tme JOE BANNER came in as FARMOR JAZIL came out and they collided putting them both off balance for a few strides , they went another few strides and JOE BANNER tried to come down to the rail and he collided with FARMOR JAZIL again and they lost more ground that they could'nt make up thereafter and filled the last two positions at the line |
Race 9 | Media Works - C4 - 305 | As the field raced down to the first turn there was severe crowding to the majority of the field caused by pressure from the outside dogs coming down towards the rail VIVALDI STAR and JILL BAXTER were the only two dogs not affected to any great degree and were the firat two home to the line. BACK DRAUGHT, MISSY OCTANE, CLAN DOUGLAS, CRYSTAL KATIE and KILKENNY were all badly affected in this incident with their chances all being extenguished . KILKENNY almost fell and recovered his footing well but was observed to make contact with the rail ,was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
Race 10 | Keenan Concrete, Wanganui - C4/5 - 520 | As the field raced to the first turn first time around KAZZ RAZZ got on the heels of RUMOUR TISM and went back on to GONE ZILLA who ran outwards sharply to avoid heels where she ran in to STARFIRE BOY hitting him hard on the side and pushing him outwards where he almost ran in to the outside fence, STARFIRE BOY was noticed to be galloping not right thereafter and finished in the rear and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found |
Race 11 | Harrison Hire Master - C5 - 305 | HIFI ALLEGRO(fav) was a bit slow out of the boxes and was tightened fractionally in to the first turn ,however could not catch KYLE IZMER in the run to the line finishing in 2nd position |
