Judicial report: The race meeting was put back one race from the start of the meeting at the request of Raceday Control due to a computer problem.
Handler James SHAW pleaded guilty to a charge under Rule 71.4 in that he failed to catch ALLEGRINI as arranged with trainer's representative MG ROBERTS. He was fined $35.00.

Race 1	Otago First 4 Stakes - C0 - 545	Both OKUKU STAR and IT'S NOT EASY were slow to jump. Into the first bend IT'S NOT EASY ran outwards tightening THRILLING ROBYN, INIGO JONES and RISING MERCURY. Into the back straight LADY PARKA clipped the heels of MERMAN JEWEL stumbled for a stride or two.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Gerald Dance Sprint - C0 - 310	MADE IN ENZED and DADDY'S MISTAKE ran down towards the rail after the start checking BLUE RAGE. KUNG FU TEDDY ran away from the rail tightening POWERFAST PIPPA. Into the bend KUNG FU TEDDY crossed POWERFAST PIPPA who came back on BLUE RAGE, MADE IN ENZED and CRASH GYBE.
Race 3	Herbert Family Sprint - C3 - 310	In the run to the turn CONTINUE checked off the rear of GENTLE HAND and came into contact with RED TIGER with both dogs losing ground to finish at the rear.
Race 4	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz Stakes - C1 - 545	SOFA LOAFA, LOVELY HAND and FUNNY LAD were tightened after the jump before SOFA LOAFA ran out to collide with FUNNY LAD. These two continued to come together into the first bend resulting in FUNNY LAD falling and striking the outside fence. He regained his feet to finish the race with a veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 5	Green Island Barber Stakes - C1 - 545	WEE SHADOW and TORQUED UP were checked as a result of general tightening into the first bend before being hit by a trailing FRITO BANDITO. Into the back straight WOOF INGILLTAB ran out colliding with RONRAY CRUISER both losing ground. TORQUED UP was vetted and found to be free of injury.
Race 6	John & Carollyn Mills Holiday Sprint - C2 - 310	Into the bend FAST TEDDY moved away from the rail as OHOKA DUKE moved inwards, resulting in the field with the exception of MEANDER who had driven to the lead, being tightened and checked. JEALOUS GLANCE fell as a result with FAST TEDDY scrambling over the fallen dog. Both were vetted and found free of injury.
Race 7	Keyosk Service Bar Pick Six - C1 - 310	Into the bend TUKURUA COLT checked out off HOMEBUSH BROCK colliding with CAWBOURNE WOODY. Soon after WEE RAZZ checked stride off the heels of STAGS INGILL.
Race 8	www.whoateallthepies.co.nz - C2 - 545	FOGGY STORM checked out off BOTANY STORY into the back straight.
Race 9	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing & Training Sprint - C5 - 310	ANOTHER BAXTER ran in sharply after the start tightening BOB BAXTER, TEE CEE and LES BAXTER. Into the bend ANOTHER BAXTER continued down to the rail tightening REWIND HISTORY who came back on CAWBOURNE CLICK and BOB BAXTER. REWIND HISTORY ran out around the bend to again collide with CAWBOURNE CLICK.
Race 10	Southern Sports Bar & Grill Stakes - C3/4 - 545	WAVE YA HAND was tightened soon after the start and when improving into the first bend collided with OH OTIS, both losing ground.
Race 11	Brocklebank Dry Cleaners Sprint - C4 - 310	All clear.
Race 12	Racing Again Tuesday 24th August Sprint - C3 - 310	FLAT BATTERY and CLEEVE HILL were slow to jump. Shortly after the jump CHILE WILL HE ran inwards and checked the running of GIVE ME MORE and NATALIA BALE. On the turn CHILE WILL HE ran out and forced NATALIA BALE wide.
