Shortly after the jump RISING MERCURY ran sharply inwards and checked the running of THRILLING ROBYN who tailed off to finish at the rear. In the run to the turn COLD SENSATION crossed over and checked LUKES FORTUNE who lost ground. |
| Race 2 | Kerry Dance Trotting Stables Stakes - C0 - 545 | MIGHTY PROPHET, MR MEADE and LA PYTHON were all slow to jump. Into the first turn SERAPHINE JEWEL checked out off the rear of HOMEBUSH WILD and ran outwards taking MIGHTY PROPHET, MR MEADE and LA PYTHON very wide on the track. On the final turn LADY PARKA checked off the rear of WHERE'S THE KEYS and lost ground. |
| Race 3 | Daryl Trainor Trotting Stables Sprint - C1 - 310 | Both CAWBOURNE DUDE and NOISE CONTROL were slow to jump. CAWBOURNE DUDE improved quickly along the rail before striking the heels of SURFIN' BIZAAR into the bend losing ground. Turning for home CAWBOURNE DUDE hit the rail losing ground to finish last. A veterinary check revealed no injury. |
| Race 4 | The Greyhounds As Pets 500th Adoption Stakes - C2 - 545 | CROSSFIRE MAX was slow to jump. Into the first corner CAWBOURNE RAPID endeavoured to cross AKON STAR but was turned sideways faultering shortly after to finish a distant last. Soon after BRASSED OFF was tightened by BOTANY HORNET losing ground. Around the bend BOTANY HORNET improved along the rail forcing LAGER IN PARIS outwards to collide with the hindquarters of AKON STAR. CAWBOURNE RAPID was subject to a veterinary check which revealed pain in the left wrist with a 14 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 5 | Herbert Family Sprint - C1 - 310 | CREPE MYRTLE and TRIPLE POUNDA collided soon after the start to settle at the rear. DAIMLER DAVE, TORQUED UP and CAWBOURNE NORMA were tightened shortly afterwards, all three losing ground. |
| Race 6 | Brocklebank Dry Cleaners Sprint - C1 - 310 | From the jump OHOKA BEND pushed outwards and HOMEBUSH JAG ran inwards with both dogs coming together and severely checking THRILLING HALLE who went back to the rear and never recovered. SING CILLA BLACK was up near the lead into the turn but ran out wide and lost all chance. |
| Race 7 | Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C1 - 545 | WHO'S YA DUFFER and BOMBAY TRAM were both slow to jump. On the first turn WHO'S YA DUFFER ran wide. On the final turn into the straight WHO'S YA DUFFER clipped the rear of MURPHY'S ONE, forcing MISS SNOW ANGEL wide and checking the running of BOMBAY TRAM. |
| Race 8 | Gaye On The Farm Stakes - C1 - 545 | REAL SLIM SHADY and MAINLAND STAR came together soon after the start. Into the first corner WOOF INGILLTAB tightened TOKEN RAGE and MAINLAND STAR on her inner, with REAL SLIM SHADY running wide as a result. |
| Race 9 | Goodbye Rachel Sprint - C2 - 310 | Into the corner EARS CHUCK tightened THAT'S BIZAAR and CAWBOURNE MADGE, all three sustaining checks before FAST TEDDY struck the heels of EARS CHUCK who lost ground. AWESOME DEEJAY clipped the rear of EARS CHUCK as a result. |
