Judicial report: B.Johnston the Trainer of WALTZING FIREFLY was charged with negligence under Rule 88.1 o when he presented the incorrect dog when kennelling for race one. The Identifying Steward discovered that the dog presented was not WALTZING FIREFLY who was in fact left at the Trainers kennels in Wanganui and was then declared as a late scratching and was subsequently stood down for 28 days under Rule 64.5. Mr Johnston was also fined $ 150-00 under Rule 88.1 o.

Race 1	Awapuni Stakes - C0 - 375	SISTER VIRTUE was checked on the first corner and went back onto PAPA GEORGIO and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 2	Peter Sinclair Photos - C1 - 375	PIN UP PUPPY was handy racing to the first corner but was checked and lost several lengths and he never recovered and finished in 2nd last place. HOMEBUSH KELLY finished in last place and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with a pectoral injury.
Race 3	GEON Wellington - C1 - 375	ASK PLEASE began a little awkwardly losing several lengths but she recovered well to finish in 3rd place.
Race 4	Foxton Stakes - C1 - 375	All clear.
Race 5	Cloverlea Sprint - C2 - 375	HORSE POWER and THRILLING COLA bumped together on the first corner and lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear. JANIE PHOENIX was handy on the first corner but was checked losing three lengths but did run on into 4th place. REALON REGGAE was struck by another dog at the lure and suffered a leg injury and was examined by the Vet and stood down for 28 days with a hock injury.
Race 6	Riverdale STAKES - C1 - 457	MUSTARD KEEN was checked twice near the first corner but recovered to finish in 3rd place.
Race 7	Hokowhitu Stakes - C3 - 375	ROYAL MINTY was very slow to begin losing several lengths and although making up some ground, she was never a chance of paying a dividend. THRILLING GRIN, FLOYDY BOY and TAILS OFF were checked on the first corner losing several lengths and all chance of a first three placing. FLOYDY BOY suffered a carpus injury and was stood down for 10 days.
Race 8	Manawatu Raceway Sprint - C3/4 - 375	CAWBOURNE KING, SUPER SAGE, THRILLING BASH and WHATA BOWLA jostled together for several strides in the early part of the race and they settled at the rear. THRILLING BASH made up some ground for 4th place but the others finished in the last three places.
Race 9	www.racingdogs.co.nz - C5 - 375	All clear.
Race 10	See You Next Monday Stakes - C1/2 - 457	ERIC PHOENIX and EVE HILL were both checked on the first turn and lost ground and they never recovered and finished at the rear.
