| Race 2 | $26 Five Wire Muzzle Stakes - C0 - 457 | MIGHTY PROPHET came up with the lids and lost ground. In the run to the turn MIGHTY PROPHET checked off the rear of DINGLE MOUSE, then into the turn HOMEBUSH SPARKY clipped the rear of RISING MERCURY and cannoned into MIGHTY PROPHET. On the turn MR MEADE and GIMME A DREAM came together. |
| Race 3 | Kelvin Hotel - C1 - 390 | FANCY WAYS went up with the starting boxes and lost ground. CAWBOURNE FREDDY jumped awkwardly, then appeared to run with difficulty to finish a distant last. A post race vet check on CAWBOURNE FREDDY showed the dog to have a torn distal attachment on the left side gracilus muscle and he was euthanased on humane grounds. |

After the race FEELER MCNIELY who had finished second was carried from the track and examined by the vet and found to have a sore right fore carpus with a 21 day stand down recommended. |

In the run to the turn OLD MATE DAVE crossed over and checked the running of CLEEVE HILL who went back to the rear and never recovered. A post race vet check of CLEEVE HILL showed the dog to have a spike wound in his left hind leg with a 7 day stand down recommended. |
