Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Trainer P Freeman and handler G Peacock where spoken to advisadly by the stewards after race 6 when there was misunderstanding between them over who was catching P Freemans dog in that race.
G Peacock normally handles for P Freeman ,however on this occasion he believed he was catching for B Cole
Both parties have been warned in the future to liase more clearly with each other

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C2 - 305	As the field raced into the first turn MYSTERY MILLIE came across onto MYA FLYA causing her to be pushed in to the racing line of GYM CLASS HERO who was tightened on to CAWBOURNE ANN ,ROBUST BOY ran up on to the back of GYM CLASS HERO and both these dogs ran out of room and fell. GYM CLASS HERO and ROBUST BOY both recovered their feet and ran on around the the pull up area and were sent for vet checks MYA FLYER lost ground in this incident and was not able to get into contention from there on in. ROBUST BOY was cleared of injury by the vet GYM CLASS HERO was found to be suffering from pain in left hind gracilis muscle with a 5 day stand down recommended
Race 2	Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1 - 520	TREY BAXTER and JONES BAXTER were late scratchings early in the afternoon due to mild dehydration and diahorrea ,leaving just a 6 dog field
Race 3	Wanganui Farm Supplies - C2 - 305	SUPERIOR BLACK was well away from box 8 soon after was observed to go back through the field and finished a distant last at the line and was sent for a vet check A veterinary check revealed a torn left hind gracilis muscle with a 28 day stand down recommended The connections of SUPERIOR BLACK have advised the stewards that the dog has been retired effective from now race all clear
Race 4	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd - C3/4 - 305	HALEY'S ACE(fav) was best away from the start and led in to the first turn ,UPAHUT STAR came through on her inside asd GUNNADOO KNIGHTt came around her and she was tightened and went back through to midfield and she finished in 5th placing at the line On the point of the home turn TIM BAXTER came out and collide with BIGTIME MOE putting them both off stride at that point and they filled the last two placings at the line.
Race 5	Media Works Dash - C3/4 - 305	FAST BACK QUEEN (fav) was awkwardly away from the boxes for a couple of strides and was only beaten by the barest of margins at the line
Race 6	Keenan Concrete 6 Pack - C2/3 - 520	REALON RAZZLE (fav) missed the jump sliightly ,however BARKHAMSTED from box two jumped quickly to the lead and gave nothing else a lookin throughout the whole journey running out and easy winner As the field raced in to the first turn BOTANY BARB ran on to the heels of PURE CHEMISTRY and ran wide taking SLICE OF MAGIC wider around the bend where they were forced to cover a lot of extra ground at that point
Race 7	Harrison Hire Master - C5 - 305	As the field raced in to the first turn there was general tighning in midfield resulting in CHILD'S PLAY running up on to the back of STAR CONQUEST and they both went back towards the rear Wider out FOUR TO MIDNIGHT had come out wide looking for racing room as UPAHUT ZORRO was trying to make ground around the field and they came together and as a result of this UPAHUT ZORRO became awkwardly unbalanced and a few strides on he broke his right front leg and pulled up before the home turn and was taken to the vet and was euthanased
Race 8	Mickey's Super Liquor, Wanganui - C4/5 - 520	TEDDY MARCELLO was awkwardly away from the start for a couple of strides and she was not able to recover from there on in and finished towards the rear
Race 9	Bilderbeck Construction - C5 - 305	As the field raced in to the first turn ROUGH ENFORCER came through on the inside of SWIFT CONQUEST and went past and ran very wide at that poit, ANOTHER NICK raced in the bunch and ran out colliding with WONGAWILLINEV and SWIFT CONQUEST causing them to be severly checked and they could not get back in to contention from there on in
Race 10	Broad Roofing Services, Wanganui - C3 - 305	RESONATOR was a stride slow and was held up in the early rush ,ran on well for 4th placing at the line. As the field raced in to the first turn TRICKY PAULA came out as THRILLING KITE came across and they came together for several strides with them going out wide and they lost all chance from there on in filling the last two positions at the line
