Judicial report: JAZZ TIME (Mrs Smith) was declared a scratching on compassionte grounds due to familty illness.
RETRO ILLUSION (Pj Clark) was stood down under rule 80.1b for failing to pursue the lure in race 5
BIGTIME ACHIEVER, SURFING AL, ROCK MAGIC, SNOW TRAIL, FALKIRKS FANTASY all completed satisfactory trials under rule 80.1

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305	As the field raced down to the first turn there was tightning and jostling between GET A PERM, MANIA FLYER and CATCH ME CARTER for some distance ,as the field made there way out of the first bend GET A PERM checked off the heels of CATCH A CARTER and went back to the rear and never recovered from there on in MOANY'S RAILER and GREAT AUNTY MIN raced wide across the top and in to the home straight and the winner IMA ROYAL was able to get a clear run up on the inside of these two dogs
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master, Wanganui - C0 - 520	As the field raced in to the first turn WANDY WANNABE came out and collided with BERNS BUNNY ,COOL TRACEY tried to go in between them and was checked at that point with BERNS BUNNY becoming unbalanced and going back to the rear where he stayed for the rest of the journey and was observed to be uncomfortable in his action BERNS BUNNY was sent for a vet check where he was found to have suffered pain and swelling right wrist with a 21 days stand down recommended
Race 3	Broad Roofing Services, Wanganui - C0 - 305	RUSTY SAM was sitting on his haunches when the box lids opened and as a consequance lost at least ten lengths at the start and was not able to catch the field and finished in last position at the post. The trainer Mr P J Clark was spoken to advisadly that the dogs performance was below par on this occasion
Race 4	Bilderbeck Construction - C0f - 520	As the field raced in to the first turn UNDER ORDERS was checked by ALWAYS A PIRATE and went back to the rear where he stayed throughout and was sent for a vet check as a precaution where no abnormalities were found
Race 5	Mickey's Super Liquor, Wanganui - C0 - 305	RETRO ILLUSION was slow away from the boxes and went a short distance and then took no further part in the race and was caught by a handler on the home turn. RETRO ILLUSION was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found and has been stood down for 28 days for non pursuit
Race 6	Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1 - 520	COLD GIN (fav) led all the way and won well ,however he collasped at the lure on pulling up and died within a few minutes. COLD GIN has been held by the stewards for an autopsy
Race 7	Wanganui Security - C1 - 305	On entering ther first turn PHANTOM FOG and TUI CAN DO collided at that point and went out wide. CAWBOURNE POINTA faltered on the point of the top bend and was observed to be broken down and was taken for a vet check where he was found to have suffered a fracture of the left hock and has been ethanased
Race 8	OfficeMax - C1 - 520	Soon after the start KERRY'S DELIGHT came across fast on to TREY BAXTER, HOMEBUSH MELL, MANLY MAGIC and MISS JETSUN ,resulting in HOMEBUSH MELL being squeezed out to the rear TREY BAXTER went back soon after and tailed the field in and was sent for a vet check where no abnormalities were found
Race 9	Keenan Concrete Wanganui, 6 Pack - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE STEFFI was a late scratching at kenneling on vets advice when she was presented with a open wound on her right upper thigh As the field raced in to the first turn TINY TITCH checked back off the heels of WINSOME DOLL and went back to the rear and beat a couple home.
Race 10	www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1 - 305	UPAHUT WITCH was vying for the lead in the early stages and was noticed to falter for a stride on entering the first turn and went back through the field causing checks to SINGLE SCULLER, VALIDICTION and THRILLING PENNY causing them to go back to the rear where they could not get back in to contention from there on in UPAHUT WITCH recovered well to finish on in to midfield
