Judicial report: Trainer Scott Payne was questioned in regards to the late scratching of THRILLING LEE. He stated that he had checked the dog the night before the races and he appeared to be fit but noticed after walking the dog at 8am that the dog appeared to be sore and was scratched at that stage. His explanation was accepted but he was reminded of his obligation to check his dog throughly before the scratching time of 7.30am.

Race 1	Trophies Plus Sprint - C2 - 318	LOONEY LEE escaped from her handler and cantered 50 metres to the lure before the race. It was found that this was a result of a faulty buckle with trainer Glen Hunt advising that this would not be used again. The veterinary surgeon passed the dog fit to race. CYCLONE HOOLEY proved difficult to box in this event. BEACH STREET was a clear last on settling. CYCLONE PRESTO checked outwards off runners on the home turn when well back.
Race 2	Deli's Sports Bar World Cup Promotion Stakes - C0 - 527	LADY LIANNE was dragged down into the first bend. JETSUN BELLE, THRILLING CHILL and LADY LIANNE all came together and lost their chances soon after with SURFER FOOT being badly checked in behind them. A post race veterinary check of LADY LIANNE revealed no injury.
Race 3	Magness Benrow Sprint - C1 - 318	WILLEE WINDSOR ran outwards slightly soon after the jump and VALEDICTION ran inwards sharply causing HOT LIKE ME and CAWBOURNE GREG to be checked with CAWBOURNE GREG falling. He quickly regained his feet and chased the field home with a post race veterinary check revealing no injury. JAYDEN'S COURAGE ran outwards into the bend and appeared to be dragged down for a stride losing ground. The racing manners of JAYDEN'S COURAGE will be closely monitored in coming starts.
Race 4	Top Dog Challenge on Sunday Stakes - C3 - 527	MATILDA'S BEST ran outwards into the first bend tightening WINSOME FREDDY, BEILPAJAH PRINCE and KARATA ROAD who all lost ground. BEILPAJAH PRINCE continued to drift off the field finishing 33 lengths behind the winner with a post race veterinary check revealing a triceps tear and calf muscle pain with a twenty one day stand down recommended. On the home turn WINSOME FREDDY cut down to the rail in front of KARATA ROAD who was badly checked and dropped out.
Race 5	Carol's TAB World Cup Promotion Sprint - C5 - 318	COOL IDOL and PAYNEFUL TRUTH were both slow away from the inside boxes. BARALLEN moved off the rail just prior to the bend with BEAR CUB receiving a check as a result and losing a length.
Race 6	Greyhounds North Maiden Distance Series - C0d - 603	LADY MARIANNE was last to jump but made ground late for fourth.
Race 7	Johnny Midnight @ Stud Stakes - C1 - 527	The favourite THRILLING SNEAK was last to jump but recovered quickly to win well. On the first bend ALL IN ONE, BILLY THUNDER and THRILLING SNOW all came together wide on the track and lost ground.
Race 8	The Brownzy Sports Bar Stakes - C4/5 - 527	EMBEZZLEMENT was subject to a pre race veterinary check after blood was found in his kennel. It appeared that this blood had come from a cut to his tongue and the veterinary surgeon declared the dog fit to race. BUT WHY NOT was contacted from behind by VIREYA into the first bend and ran outwards as a result with EMBEZZLEMENT receiving a check on her outside. These three dogs settled at the rear after this incident.
Race 9	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C5 - 318	This race was delayed by two minutes at the request of Raceday Control. PRIVATE PEDRO was the last to jump from the inside box. GOLD FOR THYS was checked by BIG RIG BAZ at the end of the back straight and lost ground with BIG RIG BAZ checking outwards off DREAM A WIN soon after and drifting to the rear.
Race 10	$20,000 Day on Sunday Sprint - C2/3 - 318	LAST SHOW was last away. Into the bend CANYA SEE ME was tightened and came back on an improving LAST SHOW who lost ground and ran outwards checking AWESOME VOYAGE who in turn ran outwards badly checking SHOWTIME ADDIS who lost his chance. LAST SHOW recovered well for an unlucky fourth.
