Weather: Raining
Track: Dead 34mls of rain were recorded overnight up until 9.00am on race morning. The track was not groomed until after Race 6 due to the moisture in the track and was groomed each race thereafter. Brushes only were used. During mid afternoon the rain disappeared resulting in a clear blue sky.
Scales: Correct at 25kgs
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: JT McINERNEY was charged witha breach of Rule 69.11 as a result of HOMEBUSH WARRIOR, a starter in Race 11 weighing in 1.6kgs under his last race start weight. He was fined $100.00.

Race 1	Challenge Opawa Maiden - C0q - 520 Heat 1	WHO'S YA DUFFER ran out onto LYNDOUR GEM into the first bend. Across the top GENIUS AT WORK and SPIRAL EBONY came together with SPIRAL EBONY being checked. In the home straight WALTZING FIREFLY ran into the hindquarters of GENIUS AT WORK losing momentum.
Race 2	Challenge Opawa Maiden - C0q - 520 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH HIFI came up with the lids losing all chance. TOSHIMI was tightened by dogs on her outer into the first bend losing ground.
Race 3	Advance Pet Nutrition Dash - C0 - 295	COOL JORDIE was slow to jump and in the run to the bend struck the running rail on two ocassions. Into the bend BULLFIGHTIN' JIMI tightened MRS.PATCH who was checked coming back on CRASH GYBE who checked outwards taking HOMEBUSH JAG wide on the track. COOL JORDIE was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injury.
Race 4	Addington Events Centre Sprint - C1 - 295	Both TEMPTING OFFER and NOISE CONTROL were slow to jump. Into the bend GLENMORE LASS moved away from the rail before being tightened between dogs and drifting out to last.
Race 5	Tuesday Place Pick Dash - C1 - 295	CHASIN' CROWS, KNOW WONDER, ADDICTED TO LUV and WHERE'S MY SEAT were tightened by dogs on their outer losing all chance. Soon after SOULJAH BOY clipped the heels of BREAKING BOND who had moved away from the rail resulting in SOULJAH BOY falling. He regained his feet to finish the event with a veterinary check revealing no injury.
Race 6	Challenge Opawa Maiden - C0q - 520 Heat 3	MULBERRY BLACK was slow to jump. Into the first bend MULBERRY BLACK struck the heels of LOVELY HAND before checking outwards and colliding with RISING MERCURY. Soon after HOMEBUSH CECIL drove into the left side of ANNE OF CLEVES who fell with HOMEBUSH CECIL being turned sideways when scrambling over the fallen dog. ANNE OF CLEVES was the subject of a veterinary check which revealed nothing amiss.
Race 7	Power Farming Sprint - C1 - 295	YALDHURST FLYER was slow to jump. Into the bend PURA LADY and SHEZA COOL ONE came together when vying for the lead with SHEZA COOL ONE losing ground. Into the home straight SHEZA COOL ONE, KNOW TURBO and GUINEAS GIRL came together losing momentum to finish at the rear.
Race 8	www.snuggleyheatpumps.co.nz Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 1	REAL SLIM SHADY was slow to jump. SWEET APPEAL tightened MOANING MOANY into the first bend with both finishing at the rear.
Race 9	www.snuggleyheatpumps.co.nz Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 2	THRILLING FEVER was slow to jump. MAINLAND STAR ran down towards the rail after the jump tightening MOST HAUNTED and DIGITALIS. Into the first bend SKIPPING RHYMES ran away from the rail before checking out off the heels of BOMBAST to run very wide around the bend and into the back straight.
Race 10	$15,000 Pick 6 Leg 1 Sprint - C1 - 295	ANY BAD HABITS, TEPIRITA TIKI and HO HO PAREORA were slow to jump. Into the bend TEPIRITA TIKI and STUMPY RELTUB came together with STUMPY RELTUB sustaining a check as a result.
Race 11	www.snuggleyheatpumps.co.nz Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 3	HOMEBUSH WARRIOR and KNOW TELLING were slow to jump. SUPERIOR RANK and KNOW TELLING were forced wide around the first bend by UNO JEWEL. SUPERIOR RANK checked out off SECRET CHLOE in the back straight.
Race 12	www.snuggleyheatpumps.co.nz Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 4	TORQUED UP came up with the lids losing ground. After the start HERE EYE AM ran down towards the rail checking LIFE'S GREAT and KNOW SECRET. Into the first bend TORQUED UP ran straight ahead tightening SOFIA'S GIRL and GENISTA SUMMER who were in turn struck' from behind by GENISTA SUMMER with all three falling. They regained there feet to finish the race. Post race veterinary checks revealed SOFIA'S GIRL to have left shoulder soreness with a 7 day stand down recommended. The other two dogs were free of injury.
Race 13	www.snuggleyheatpumps.co.nz Stakes - C1q - 520 Heat 5	WAVE YA HAND was slow to jump. Into the home straight HEAVEN HAND moved outwards and marred KAIAPOI JADE with both dogs losing ground to finish at the rear. As a result HEAVEN HAND was deemed by Stewards to be in breach of Rule 80.1.a and was stood down for a period of 28 days and ordered to undertake a Satisfactory Trial.
Race 14	Speight's Six Pack - C2 - 520	BRUNO was very slow to jump. Into the first bend HOMEBUSH OSO tightened KNOW RESPONSE with both losing ground.
Race 15	Back Here Friday Dash - C2 - 295	COOL'S THE TUNE, VERONICA, GENISTA COMANCHE and SILENT WHISPER were checked into the bend losing all chance.
