| Race 1 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318 | THRILLING LLOYD was last to jump. Into the bend WRAITH checked off the back of UTAH BIG RIG and dropped to the rear. Following the race LIL' LARRIKIN was subject to a post race veterinary check that revealed left accessory carpal bone ligament injury with a ten day stand down recommended. |

| Race 3 | NZ's Best Car Deal at Andrew Simms Newmarket - C3/4 - 318 | KAMACO was badly tightened soon after the jump and dropped to the rear. CLASSY FORT ran outwards into the bend and checked JAZZY TOKAAM who lost ground. On the home turn the pacemaking SHOWBAGS faltered and ran sharply outwards with TO THE CREST falling as a result. CLASSY FORT was also badly checked in behind these runners. SHOWBAGS was found to have broken a hock with the dog being euthanased. TO THE CREST was cleared of injury. |
| Race 4 | Style Canopies & Auto Accessories Stakes - C1 - 527 | EMBLAZING checked off runners into the first bend and lost ground. VACCINIUM received a check on the home turn when EMBLAZING charged up in behind her and made contact as he passed her. SUPER BOND was running second until the end of the back straight when he faltered dropping out to last with a post race veterinary check revealing a badly broken hock with the dog being euthanased. |
| Race 5 | Dents 'R' Us Sprint - C3 - 318 | BLACK COUGAR was squeezed up along the rail into the bend and brushed the rail losing ground with a post race veterinary check revealing a sprained stopper bone tendon with a twenty one day stand down recommended. |
| Race 6 | Greyhounds North Maiden Distance Series Heat 1 - C0d - 603 | ZERO RANGER missed the jump by three lengths and remained well back until the home turn running on well for fourth. TONY CAN'T GO checked off the back of TAWHIRI into the first bend and dropped to the rear. On the home turn OSTI'S RUBY was tightened in between runners and received a bad check costing her a chance of a placing. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. |
| Race 7 | Golden Gun Panelbeaters Stakes - C2/3 - 527 | YAMBLA BOB checked outwards off runners into the first bend settling well back while wider out MATILDA'S BEST was dragged down for a stride losing some momentum. |
| Race 8 | Synergy Electrics Stakes - C4/5 - 527 | NO HELP INDEED was the last to jump. THRILLING ANGEL was tightened in between runners into the first bend making ground for third when clear. |
| Race 9 | NZ's Best Car Deal at Andrew Simms Newmarket - C5 - 318 | BRIGHT CONQUEST received a check soon after the jump when contacting KERRIE'S FANTASY on his inner and settled well back. |
| Race 10 | Denny's Restaurants Open 24 Hours - C2 - 318 | WILD FLYNN was last to jump. PRIDE OF SOUTH and FANCY EEL came together on the home bend when well back in the field. Following the race BEACH STREET was found to have a broken left dew claw that required removal with a six day stand down recommended. |
