Judicial report: M.Goodwin the Trainer of THRILLING VIRUS was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when the dog was presented 1.6 kilograms under its last race start weight on 19.05.10. Handlers Willie Hodgson and David Voyce were spoken to advisedly and issued with warnings after it was alleged that they may have been in breach of Rules 72.9 c and 88.1 x while positioned behind the starting boxes after loading dogs to race.

Race 1	Allied Work Force 0800 Labour - C0 - 305	CENTRAL SKIP, IMA ROYAL and SISTER VIRTUE bumped together soon after the start and they all lost ground and settled at the rear. IMA ROYAL recovered the best of the three and she ran on well for 2nd place. MOTHERLEE led on the bend but appeared to make contact with ALL ABOUT LOUD and lost ground and finished in 6th place. ALL ABOUT LOUD checked over the heels of the eventual winner SINGLE SCULLER in the home straight and this possibly affected her chance of a closer placing than 4th.
Race 2	Media Works - C0 - 520	GREAT AUNTY MIN and KERRY'S DELIGHT were both checked on the first corner and went back to the rear. GREAT AUNTY MIN did make up ground to finish 5th but KERRY'S DELIGHT stayed back and finished in last place.
Race 3	Broad Roofing Services, Wanganui - C0 - 305	ORANGA PAI began on terms with the other runners but could not keep up with the pace and drifted off the back and he stayed back to finish in last place. KOP ROAR received a slight check on the first corner and lost ground. TINY TITCH was checked on the bend and dropped back onto GENTLE ATTACK and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 4	Guthrie Bowron, Wanganui - C1q - 305 Heat 1	LOST FRIENDS, TURF MOOR and GO WILD SHANE were all checked and lost ground on the first corner and PHANTOM FOG, who had been slow to begin was also affected when those runners dropped back onto his line of running. LOST FRIENDS suffered a torn nail and lacerations and was stood down for 14 days.
Race 5	Wanganui Security - C1 - 520	VICTOR MAKO ran in from box 8 at the start and checked HOMEBUSH BONITA and MR JAZZ MAN and they settled towards the rear. CAWBOURNE SNOWY was jostled for a few strides near the first corner and lost a little ground.
Race 6	Bilderbeck Construction, Wanganui - C1q - 305 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH CINDY, CAWBOURNE BRIDE, BITTA ZIP and THRILLING TIM were all checked and lost several lengths and all chance on the first corner and they finished in the last four places. SCOTCH AND DRY who had been slow to begin also received some interferance in the incident.
Race 7	Mickeys Super Liquor - C1q - 305 Heat 3	THRILLING VIRUS was very slow to begin losing several lengths and all chance of a first four placing. She did make up some ground to finish in 6th place. The favourite MIDNIGHT KIWI was handy to the first corner but made firm contact with the rail and went back a few places. He did make up some ground to finish 4th and was examined by the Vet as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 8	Harrison Hire Master - SPECAd - 645	The favourite SLICE OF MAGIC was very slow to begin losing several lengths but he made up ground to finish 2nd, beaten by a nose. FEVER SHIRAZ faltered with a circuit to run and dropped back to tail the field by several lengths but made up ground at the end but still finished in last place. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 14 days with a tricep injury.
Race 9	Keenan Concrete, Wanganui 6 Pack - C1q - 305 Heat 4	WHERE'S WALLY eased on the first corner when crowded from the outside by HEALING CRYSTAL and went back a couple of lengths. SHEZA RATBAG who was following, made firm contact with the rail losing several lengths and she stayed back to finish last. She was examined by the Vet and stood down for 7 days with a bruised thigh muscle.
Race 10	www.wanganuicarcentre.com - C1q - 305 Heat 5	BLACK IS BACK was checked and fell on the first corner and MISS TORI and STILL NO TRACK were interfered with in the incident and lost ground. BLACK IS BACK was examined by the Vet and stood down for 10 days with shoulder and thigh bruising.
